Pingle's Farm Market
When our ‘barn doors’ opened 34 years ago, we wanted to provide our customers with the chance to shop local, support their Canadian farmers, and get in touch with life on the farm. A lot has changed since then, but those main goals have stayed the same. Located on 148 acres of land 5 minutes East of Oshawa, we host pick-your-own apples, strawberries, asparagus, pumpkins, lavender, wildflower & sunflower experiences throughout the year, alongside our famous fall Harvest Festival and year round farm market. In the market we proudly offer freshly baked goods, locally grown fruits, vegetables and proteins, made-in-house entrees, gourmet grocery items & other goodies. If it's not made (or grown) at our farm, it's 100% Canadian sourced!

Powerrich Fertilizer Inc
A Winnipeg based company, we take great pride in pioneering granular macro and micronutrients in fertilizer in Canada. Since the beginning in 1984, PowerRich has been North America’s premier expert in matching crop nutritional requirements to soil type in the most economic and environmental way possible. 1989 saw the development of a granular fertilizer product, which contained our proprietary formula, plus the addition of granular micro-nutrients. 1989 also saw the merger of the two product lines, the granular and a water soluble foliar, both now handled by PowerRich. We also began marketing a liquid kelp based product at this time. The new granular products have been revised over the years to reflect farm equipment and blending compatibility. The granular products are designated as PowerPaks, the water soluble as PowerFol, and ReadyPhos, and the kelp product as PowerRoot. Our goal is to deliver high performing soil - friendly fertilizers that do not contaminate the soil or plant. Our globally sourced high quality ingredients for our proprietary formulas and constant innovation position PowerRich to help farmers grow their best crops now and well into the future.

Babe's Honey Farm
Babe's Honey Farm was founded in 1945 by Babe & Charlie Warren with a small loan from a credit union and single beehive Charlie found in the forest. They spent their lives building Western Canada's favorite bee farm and provided Vancouver Island with local honey for over 60 years. Babe passed in 2006, three years after Charlie, and Babe's Honey Farm was sold to a local businessman and a handful of investors. In January of 2011, Babe's Honey went into receivership and it's assets went up for auction on June 29th 2011. But that's not the whole story. The former employees have re-launched the business and opened a new store at Galey Farms. Their beekeeping is based in Saanich with hives spread all over the southern half of Vancouver Island during the summer months.
