Communigrow
Communigrow is a sustainable food education charity and community garden based in a 2.4 acre field in East Malling. We teach people how to grow chemical free food, using the therapeutic benefits of gardening to bring about positive change to physical and mental wellbeing. Our beneficiaries include children and young people with special education needs, local schools, under 5s, people from under-resourced communities, young carers, adults with additional needs, older adults experiencing social isolation, veterans and emergency services workers, people with health conditions and people experiencing bereavement. In addition we also provide purposeful volunteering activities for adults of all ages. Communigrow is off-grid. We use solar power for electricity, we have composting toilets, we harvest rainwater and we have many different natural habitats such as wildflower meadows, wildlife ponds, dead hedges and bug hotels etc to encourage biodiversity. Our growing methods are environmentally friendly and include companion planting, ‘no dig’ practices to preserve soil structure and minimise carbon release, producing our own compost, mulching to retain water, drought resistant planting and never, ever using chemicals on our crops. In 2024 we were proud to receive the Wilder Kent Gold Award in recognition of our protection of wildlife and the natural environment. This year all of our staff have undertaken training and achieved ‘Carbon Literate’ certification with the Carbon Literacy Project, which involved making and seeing through personal and work based pledges to cut carbon. In 2023 we were awarded the accolade Kent’s Mental Being Space of the Year by East Kent Mind, and in 2024 we were finalists in the BBC Make A Difference Award, The Third Sector Awards and the Kent Charity of the Year Award. This month we won the Community Category award in the Adobe Express Your Innovation competition run by Telegraph Media Group. Enquires to info@communigrow.org.uk

Intracrop Limited
IntraCrop is a UK-based company specialising in the development, registration and distribution of products which improve the efficacy of crop inputs on arable farms. In challenging agronomic and economic circumstances, maximising productivity in crop production is vital. Improved efficacy of crop protection and nutrient applications reduces the unit cost of production, making a significant contribution to profitability. IntraCrop takes a science-led approach. We work with universities, research institutes and independent scientists to develop adjuvants, biostimulants and seed treatments. With significant financial backing from our parent company, Frontier Agriculture, we focus our innovation pipeline on developing products that will deliver incremental gain, supported by clear evidence from credible, independent trials. Our focus on improved productivity is driven by the demands of agronomists, both independent and distributor. Increased resistance and the reduction in the number of active ingredients available to agronomists means every crop protection application must work effectively. Operating across Europe, we work with a network of local distributors, supported by our own European sales and technical managers.

Koppert Uk Ltd
To make our world more sustainable, we need ways of growing that are both safe and healthy. We believe the answers to these agricultural challenges lie in nature itself. So we partner with nature. And help our planet to find its balance. Using natural enemies to combat pests, bumblebees for pollination, microbials, and biostimulants that support, protect, and strengthen crops. Improving plant health both above and underground. We were founded in 1967 by Jan Koppert, a Dutch grower with a clear vision; the world needed an alternative for chemical pesticides. He was the first to find a natural solution to combat the pest in his crop. Setting in motion a major transformation towards sustainable agriculture. For over 50 years, we have been pushing agricultural innovation, and these efforts have impact. Growers and farmers worldwide use our products and knowledge to restore the natural balance in their crops. Improving crop health, resilience, and yield. Together we are meeting the highest food safety demands on our way to our ultimate goal: 100% sustainable agriculture. A clear goal we can’t complete on our own. That’s why we team up with growers, partners, universities, research stations, and governmental bodies worldwide. Together we contribute to the better health of people and the planet. So let’s continue to move forward and Partner with Nature.
