Strongbó Agritech
In any sector, Industry 4.0 is based on the collection and analysis of big data to enable new types of decision-making. StrongBo utilises the internet of things, by collecting and analysing thousands of data points per animal per day to generate insights that have never been possible before. Our first product 'BovineHub' is designed to give complete insight into the beef production process, by analyzing live weight-gain, water consumption, feed intake to derive key performance indicators, that can be leveraged by our customers, and the industry. The physical BovineHub device collects, analyses and communicates the data to the cloud and our BovineHub service, then analyses and presents this information to our customers. But the system is also beneficial at a macro level. The same data can be used to: improve economic and environmental efficiencies at a national level; enable a step change in genomic classification and progression. We can essentially turn every farm in Ireland into a micro research facility. StrongBo has the capability to revolutionise the amount of data extracted from the field for the benefit of everyone.
