After receiving exclusive rights to distribute vegetable seeds from Sin Seng Huat Seeds SDN BHD, founded in 1936, one of the pioneer in crop production companies in Malaysia, Entree Baitang began pre-trial of many varieties. Only after we saw the great results that we became convinced we now have the product to serve with our purpose. Based on our high purity and quality #vegetable_seeds we are sure to have great values we can offer to our farmers. Currently we are one of the few companies that offer hybrid vegetable seeds and legally registered with the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Agriculture. Farmers who have tried our seeds received the #high_yields and experience they have never received when using other seeds. To make sure our farmers could adapt both sustainable and high yield, we have used the latest technology to produce the #semi-compound_fertilizers. Which is the technology that combine chemical and organic material in one bag. This technology can improve the productivity of the fertilizer used. Organic material can recover soil health, stock nutrient in the soil, and add micro-organism to the soil. Green O Farm

The increasing demand for organic vegetables in Cambodia, led GOF to venture into the organiceld in 2009. In 2012, GOF shifted their farm operations to Kampong Speu province, after persuading local farmers from six villages to join hands with company. The villages are located in Angdong Sla village, Anglong thorm village, Tompong village,Krang Speu village, Kahang village and Som Pan Village. About 80 farmers are growing and providing fresh organic vegetables to GOF. In effect about 400 people in these six villages have been engaged in this organic production.

Countries that MONITA currently exports rice to: Asia: Hong Kong, China, Singapore; Europe: The Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, Portugal, Sweden, Czech Republic, Italy, Russia; Africa: Angola, Togo, Ivory Coast, Gambia; and USA. In total MONITA has more than 100 employees working at our corporate headquarter in Phnom Penh and branches in provinces. Furthermore, we have three other rice mills and have community rice growing partnerships in place with 25 other rice mills for when demand requires additional capacity. Our plantations have the capacity to produce 3,500 tons of rice per month for local consumption and export. Now that our new refining factory is fully operational, we have the capacity to mill up to tons of rice per month.

Angkor Green Investment And Development

Cambodia Agriculture is seizing around 30% of the total GDP in the last recent years. We see the opportunities of growing business in the sector by introducing advance technologies, good quality inputs and tools to modernize Cambodia agriculture sector. In November 2010, a group of active, young talented people formed together to run a fertilizer business in two provinces in the South of Cambodia. March –August 2011, the team was expanded to some other rice potential provinces. Since July 2011, the committed team established a company to be ready for the future expansion and growth. Angkor Green is formally set up in August 1, 2011 with a license as a private limited company from Ministry of Commerce (MoC) in August 01, 2011. License number: Co. 1836 KH/2011 and the re-registration/online registration number: Angkor Green is distributing agrochemical products, bio control agents, drip irrigation, tractors & machinery, and providing practical skills training, supplying raw materials, feed addictive and animal health care products to animal growers in Cambodia. Since the first year, Angkor Green becomes one of the top three leaders in foliar fertilizer in Cambodia. This is resulted from our strong, talented, committed-team performance, good quality products, and our great support to our clients. Angkor Green has been introducing some new technologies to farmers, including the high value crops growers in Cambodia since August 2015. Our new specialized tractor, BCS/Ferrari brand, and drip irrigation systems (from the world 2nd leader drip irrigation company) is enabling hundreds farmers to expand their farming capacity to double or triple the size with their existing resources. However, nutrient and pest management is still their challenges. The pest affecting field is leading to low yield, high production costs, less income, and health affected issues caused by too much pesticides (including over dosage) used. Thus, Angkor Green and its partners are planning to set up of the new bio/organic fertilizers/pesticides. Then, this will become another best alternative to help farmers protecting their crops from pests/diseases organically and safe. Angkor Green is enthusiastic to have our own bio control agents (BCA) and organic fertilizer factory so that we are able to have the full hand portfolio to add-up in our business portfolio fulfil our commitment to become “a one stop shop and an agricultural solution in Cambodia”. Then after, the small scale farmer will also could afford to use BCAs replacing, gradually, chemical uses in their farming activities. Since 2015, Angkor Green prepared ourselves to buy back products produced by farmers. We are trying our best to eyes on the export of agri-products in which we could contribute in stabilize the price of outputs produced by farmers. We also see this export as an opportunity for company expansion and fulfilling our objective as an One Stop Shop in Providing Agriculture Solutions.
