Farming First Llc
Farming is in our DNA. Our team includes third, fourth and fifth-generation farmers. Our co-founder Will Terry’s family has been working the land off California’s Central Coast for over 125 years. In that time, our collective team has picked up a thing or two about what works. Like, “nature nearly always knows best.” And “sustainability” is more than a corporate buzzword, it’s a way of life. We’ve also learned to always find new ways to keep growing. Before launching Farming First, Will partnered with Stephen Walden and began cultivating CBD cannabis (hemp) using the Terry family’s expertise from large-scale farming techniques used for peppers, strawberries and leafy green vegetables. As the team grew, it didn’t take long to realize we were on to something big, transitioning our agricultural knowledge to THC cannabis cultivation. The ideal conditions that growers, scientists and engineers work to replicate in grow houses happen naturally here in Central California. We have a near year-round growing window – at a fraction of the cost and environmental impact. We know how lucky we are. That’s where the “responsibility” part comes in. We’re privileged to be part of one of the world’s most beautiful and vital ecosystems. We work every day to nurture our land like it nurtures us. Our responsibility also extends to the entire cannabis community. We want to lead the industry not just on quality and value, but in transparency and trust. Is it hard to balance scale, sustainability, regulation and all the other considerations it takes to make a modern farm thrive? Absolutely. But you and your customers deserve nothing less than Farming First’s best.

Farmonaut
Farmonaut has been at the forefront of providing satellite data directly to the farmers through its award-winning developed android, iOS and web platforms and has monitored lakhs of hectares of farm lands nationally as well as internationally. We majorly provide satellite based crop health monitoring services as well as field mapping services to farmers and business partners through our own platforms, API and website linking options, wherein, farmers/business partners can select fields on the Farmonaut platform (android, iOS or web app) and identify the regions of the fields at which the crop growth is not normal. This is done through satellite data. They can also integrate their existing platforms with our API to provide our satellite data to their existing user base. A Farmer can apply fertilizers, chemicals, insecticides, pesticides, plant growth regulators etc. only in those areas where the crop growth is not normal. Apart from this, farmers also receive vegetation water stress, evapotranspiration and soil organic carbon data as well every 3-5 days through satellites on top of the weather forecast data from the nearest weather station. We also have the capabilities to provide uninterrupted crop health satellite data even during cloudy weather through synthetic aperture radar (SAR) sensors. Farmonaut has made geotagging farmer fields more streamlined and a faster process. Our interconnected app ecosystem facilitates our clients to map fields through our android app and monitor, manage, and access data of the mapped fields through our robust and advanced web-app. You can reach us on: AppLink: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.farmonaut.android Website: https://farmonaut.com Satellite Imagery: https://farmonaut.com/web-app Facebook: https://facebook.com/farmonaut Instagram: https://instagram.com/farmonaut Twitter: https://twitter.com/farmonaut Youtube:

Ferticell
Ferticell has provided effective fertilizers for organic farmers for almost 20 years (we celebrate that milestone on 4/1/2024) and we continue to be a partner with organic farmers. Changes are coming to farming by incorporating once used practices. Conventional and organic farmers are shifting to a more focused approach of what inputs are used and how they are used. More farmers are becoming precision farming practitioners and others are becoming regenerative farmers, both sharing a common goal of using less and better inputs in a more precise way for a better outcome. Their focus is what is best for the long term, for the soil, the environment, the nutritional value of the food produced and an increase in ROI. There are external factors effecting this change, based on increasing sustainability to increase ESG scores for their customers, while meeting consumer demands. Ferticell exceeds the requirements needed in that shift, and is organic. Organic is the reason we exceed the criteria since plant-based fertilizers are more bioavailable, sustainable and do not need to be converted to another form to work immediately in a crop. Our carrier, single cell fresh-water algae cells, also delivers it right to the plant. We use plants to feed plants. Ferticell serves both conventional and organic farmers in North America. Our unique line of products are based on plant based raw materials that are not only more bioavailable, but immediately go to the root system and do not reside on the surface where they will volatilize into the atmosphere. Most of what is dispensed is fully utilized. And they contribute to soil improvement by feeding the microorganisms in the soil to regenerate it back to conditions that are optimal for plant growth. Whether you use them as your sole fertilizer or as part of your tank load to improve fertilizer and other inputs uptake, Ferticell belongs on your list of products for all crops and seasons.
