In Situ Art Agency
IN SITU art agency works to help build artist careers, encourage international exchange, and contextualize Armenian art within global discourse. Born in 2018 from the founders of HAYP Pop Up Gallery, Armenia's nomadic art space, IN SITU and HAYP work together as a consortium to seed the creative economy in Armenia. We function as a constellation of spaces that innovates the traditional gallery model through a flexible structure that mobilizes a network of art professionals, know-how, venues, and institutions. Through Exhibition, Education, Commissions & Consultancy, we provide a platform for artists on the margins to explore, expand and connect to global leaders and markets. Among our various prgrams are: PROJECT SPACE, an artist-residency program in Yerevan, Armenia; IN PRINT, a program that encourages innovative print practice; and our HAYP exhibition program in the virtual and public space.
