Lucy Chen Fine Art
Without light, there would be no eye sight, no vision, no life. Like sunflowers, we turn to the light for strength, courage and inspiration. Through light that we are able to see beauty in this world, especially when dark moments befall. My grandmother always says that I am her light. She often tells how her very fragile and surgery-ruined body started to heal after I was born and came into her care. Almost ninety now, she is healthier and stronger than she was in her twenties. I am now a mother of two little children, I desire to be their light, shining on their path as they cross a dark valley. I summon light with magic wands, my paint brushes. My hope is that my art can shine on your path and bring you joy, strength and hope.

Swapnil Nevgi Fine Art
I am an Australian artist living in Brisbane, Australia. I was born in the beautiful coastal town of Goa, India. Creativity and art have been my passion since childhood and to enhance that I moved to Brisbane in 2001 for higher education. I have qualification in advertising, design and IT and worked in the corporate world for 10+ years. I gave up full time employment in 2017 to focus on my passion for art. Now I operate my own business in design, art and photography. Nature intrigues me and I really enjoy capturing wildlife and landscapes on canvas. I am passionate about nature conservation and aim to promote the significance and beauty of wildlife and nature through my art. Realism is my preferred style of art, however I also enjoy working with other styles of painting from time to time. I spend a lot of time absorbing the elements of nature and photographing references that help me create my paintings. This process not only helps me gather references but also helps me learn about the natural environment and capture the mood of nature that I can translate into my painting. I create my artwork with realistic intricate details to bring the story of nature to life as I experience it.

The Melbourne Map
The Melbourne Map is an iconic illustration of this magnificent city. Intricately researched and hand-drawn over three years the artwork is a popular addition to the walls of Melbournians and Melbourne lovers. Magnificent limited editions and art prints are now in homes, offices and schools here and abroad. The award-winning map is now Australia's favourite piece jigsaw puzzle and together with a brilliantly designed "Can You Find?" Calendar (with 400 things to find!) they’ve become popular corporate and staff gifts Our creative team of researchers and artists are continuing with map-making adventures, and have recently completed The Bellarine Map with others now on the drawing board. Melinda Clarke (founder) has loved illustrated maps since first collecting them while travelling through Europe and the USA in the mid-'80s. Discovering that Melbourne hadn’t been drawn in detail since 1880 led her to create the first iconic Melbourne Map in 1990. A decision to honour Melbourne with another map came in 2017, and Lewis Brownlie (chief illustrator) spent 2.5 years at the easel documenting every little detail of Melbourne's architecture, parklands, streetscapes and the quirky things discovered during our research. Deborah Young (artist of the 1990 map) contributed her character illustrations, and in late 2018 we published The Melbourne Map black & white edition. Following this Sean Rodwell (digital colourist) wove his magic on the iMac and brought The Melbourne Map colour version to life.
