Street Art Festival Z.S
Jsme umělci a jsme nezisková organizace. Podporujeme zdejší komunitu, mladé umělce, kulturu a turismus. Ocenili jste nás za největší přínos kultuře v Olomouckém kraji za rok 2018 a my vám za to děkujeme.

Academy Of Fine Arts In Prague
The Academy of Fine Arts in Prague was established in 1799 by a decree passed by Emperor Franz I. The impetus for the creation of the Academy came from the “Society of Patriotic Art Lovers”, a philanthropic fellowship of enlightened aristocrats who had previously founded the Picture Gallery (today’s National Gallery) and thus laid the foundation for the preservation of individual artworks and collections, as well as for education in the arts. In 1925 the school became the first art school in Bohemia to acquire the status of a university. It gradually expanded its fields of study (in 1945, for example, the Art Conservation Department was opened), and in 1990 internal reforms led to multimedia disciplines becoming part of its program. For many years the Academy has had a relatively stable number of students (approximately 330). The ratio of students to lecturers in specialist ateliers is based on the individual requirements of teaching young talents. Special emphasis is put on theory and aesthetics, as well as on the teaching of crafts in individual workshops and many other courses within the framework of its Lifelong Learning Program. It also has science and research departments, as well as a library, historical archive and its own gallery. The school is actively involved in international exchange programs and has several long-term bilateral agreements concluded with traditional partners around the world. The independent Guest Professor Studio is part of this structure. The Academy of Fine Arts is well placed to offer intensive, focused support for the development of talent. It has its own spacious north-facing historical ateliers with overhead lighting, as well as various technological workshops. It offers an individual approach and a clear system of teaching, within the framework of which it is possible transfer between ateliers and disciplines.

Meetfactory
MeetFactory is a non-profit international center for contemporary art founded in 2001 by the artist David Černý. The program of MeetFactory consists in four dramaturgic departments - music, theatre, gallery and the artist-in-residence program. The music program presents the international independent music scene, holding six to eight performances per month in the music hall fitted with high-end audio equipment. The theatre program focuses on contemporary prose, as well as experimental interdisciplinary projects, often involving visual artists, musicians, or non-actors. The three galleries offer space for critical confrontation of the national and international art scenes. The MeetFactory Gallery focuses on original curatorial projects, while the Kostka Gallery presents solo shows of emerging and established artists. The program of the Wall Gallery, a side-facade of the building, comprises of large-scale realizations beyond street art. The international Artist-in-Residence program is the largest studio program in the Czech Republic. MeetFactory facilitates fifteen studios, which annually host over thirty visual artists, curators, musicians, theatre directors or writers. We foster the involvement of our artists in residence not only within the programming of MeetFactory, but also in the context of the Czech and Central European art scenes. Besides the four dramaturgic departments the program of MeetFactory is oriented on inter-genre and educational projects which offer the public new forms of encounter with contemporary art.

Galerie Edikula

Artistic duo Ondřej Konupčík (1984) and Radim Kašpárek (1990) creating through a technique they have developed based on a painting on the water. They have met each other when Ondrash tattooed Radim and they both found a similar passion in painting. For more than 6 years they went through a development of a very unique technique of organic painting. “We considered painting to be a good way of emotional catharsis and soul purification for a long time, and only later did we realise that we had a much deeper relationship with it. We have rediscovered the joy of pure creation, where, regardless of the result and evaluation, we try everything the technique and medium allow us. The result is a very distinctive way of painting, which amazes us to this day every time we do it thanks to its diversity and at the same time it inspires us for further work.”
