Kunsthal Aarhus
Kunsthal Aarhus ligger som en lille oase i hjertet af Aarhus og viser eksperimenterende kunst fra den lokale, nationale og internationale kunstscene. Udstillingsprogrammet består af soloudstillinger med markante kunstnere, større årlige solo- og profiludstillinger og faste samarbejder om afgangsudstillingen ved Det Jyske Kunstakademi og Kunstnernes Påskeudstilling, KP & SPRING- Kunsthal Aarhus' vision sætter retningen for 2025-2030. Visionen er udarbejdet i et tæt samarbejde mellem bestyrelsen, ledelsen og medarbejderne, og den sætter fokus på fire centrale områder (image, kunstnerisk profil, community og inhouse), der tilsammen danner det, som kunsthallen stræber mod at blive, æ ø Kunsthal Aarhus udvikler sit netværk og engagerer sig i samarbejder lokalt, nationalt og internationalt i forbindelse med udstillinger, skulpturparken, events, fondsstøtte og sponsorater. Kunsthallen arbejder med det udgangspunkt, at samarbejder skal facilitere en udveksling mellem de involverede parter og skal bidrage til at bringe dem nye steder hen, udvikle og skarpslibe kompetencer og ressourcer. Kunsthal Aarhus ser dette og udviklingen af eksisterende samarbejder som essentielt for stedet, både kulturelt, professionelt og socialt. Kunsthal Aarhus er ikke kun et sted for kunsten, men også et krydspunkt for musik, film, litteratur og andre kunstarter – et sted hvor kulturelle events er en markant del af stedets kulturtilbud og et socialt bindemiddel mellem publikum. På Kunsthal Aarhus skal publikum føle, at der er plads til dem. Det er et sted, hvor man har lyst til at være, og hvor man kan nyde stemningen på alle planer – både gennem kunstneriske oplevelser, i caféen, butikken og til sociale events. Kunsthal Aarhus har eksisteret som udstillingssted siden 1917.

Galleri Nicolai Wallner
Galleri Nicolai Wallner opened in the fall of 1993 with the ambition of exhibiting challenging and innovative contemporary art. The inauguration of the gallery not only captured the spirit of that particular time, but set the pace and agenda for what we continue to do today. Accordingly, many of the artists in our current program have been with the gallery since its inception, and have had their first solo show with the gallery. The gallery was primarily founded on the ideals of what it means to represent an artist throughout their career, and it is with this in mind that we have built our program and have incorporated new artists. Our representation of more seminal, established artists has provided us a way of contextualising the gallery’s vision, and has also allowed us to introduce the Danish art scene to some of the most important living artists. We see the responsibility of the gallery as wide reaching; a personal collaboration with each artist, helping with production and acting as their connection to international galleries and museums, also managing both a written and a visual archive for each artist, and not at least acting as an open public space that presents the highest level of contemporary art to the general public. The current program is comprised of both Scandinavian and international artists. Working with varying techniques, media and practices, they are defined as a group not by a shared aesthetic, but rather by a common wish to express content, to tell a story, and to make an impression in an otherwise fluctuating world. 2017 marked a year of transition and expansion, as the gallery moved into a newly designed building. Today, we continue to build our commitment and our interest in both our local Danish arts community, as well as the general arts community at large.

Visual artist in Copenhagen Danmark. Paintings I Murals I Architectural Art I Sculptures My art entails a confidence in the power of abstraction, the complex and the subtle, where something inarticulated in us is met with an inspiring energy. With my art, in a visual narrative, I wish to move the observer with my outlook on the nature in man – and the man in nature. It is a narrative of how man is nature and part of a complex universal pattern, where surroundings, on an energy level, merge with sensation, emotions and thoughts. We are in the Science Art (SciArt) category, where I examine and express something about the world. I reduce a scientific or an aesthetic concept down to fewer or simpler elements with the purpose of closer examination. I use this reductionistic approach in my art in regards to both shape and colors, where I examine the individual components in order to reveal a more complex phenomenon. I seek to evoke a sensual and emotional realization in the observer. In my art I use the flow of nature, where large amounts of water make shapes floating and alive. I use the laws of nature to create movement and cracks. Branches shoot forward like new beginnings and follow the universal pattern of fractal budding. Cells are the building blocks of nature and the foundation of life. Everything alive consists of cells. The human body is in constant change from the first cell formation, where stem cells are the foundation of our complex organism. I view the world holistically with a focus on the whole. Humans and everything in the world are inextricably linked. I am fascinated by nature’s patterns and by micro and macrocosm relations. Patterns in nature occur in fractal geometry, where they are embedded in each other and recur in things large and small. The fractal patterns apply to both nature’s simple organisms and the more complex ones, and thus, they apply to us humans as well.

Jeg har altid været tiltrukket af kreativitet, hvor fantasien fører: Mit kreative univers er bygget op omkring "BB. Duck"(Billionaire Bathing Duck), som blev mange millionær ved at dyrke verdens dyreste blomster; Bitcoin-blomsten. I hjertet af det italienske landskab, omgivet af bølgende marker og duften af espresso, dyrker BB. Duck verdens dyreste og mest eftertragtede blomst: Bitcoin-Blomsten. De sjældne blomster spirer kun på hans jord, og hver eneste af dem bærer en gylden kerne formet som en Bitcoin. Det er disse blomster, der har forvandlet BB. Duck fra en håbefuld lille landand til en mangemillionær- med potentiale til at blive verdens rigeste and.

HBH-Art er et enkeltmands-firma, hvor der skabes og sælges kunst direkte fra atelier. Jeg arbejder mest i olie på lærred og bronze, men også i akvarel Farverne fremstiller jeg selv af rene pigmenter og linolie eller akvarelbinder, og lærrederne spænder jeg op på kraftige blindrammer. Jeg laver gerne bestillingsarbejder med ønskede motiver og portrætter - både af dyr og mennesker. Min styrke som kunstner er en god koloristisk farvesans og gode tegneevner.

Tokyo Blue har eksisteret siden 2011 og består af 4 medlemmer med vforskellig baggrund inden for kunst, teknik og humanisme. Fascinationen af farver og deres evne til at skabe sanselige oplevelser er vores fælles og grundlæggende omdrejningspunkt. Vi arbejder og eksperimenterer med farvers kompleksitet og er særligt optagede af samspillet mellem farve, lys, flade, materialer og rum. Vores installationer tager ofte udgangspunkt i eksisterende rum og arkitektur. Lys og farve væves sammen med de fortællinger, associationer eller historiske lag, der knytter sig til stedet, og de hverdagslige rum omdannes til fiktive rum, hvor sanserne pirres og hjernen udfordres.

Kongstad Studio is a creative duo working in various media including painting, mural, illustration, installation and sculpture. Cecilie studied design and communication while Tobias studied sourcing and innovation, their work often revolves around nature and characters, symbiosis versus detachment. Their studio is full of color, being it is proven to have a positive effect on human psyche, and accompanies humoursome thoughtfulness, often driven by a site-specific mood. Inspired by innovation, they often work with intriguing materials such as air purifying paint, always seeking new ideas to support their art’s underlying theme. As the first artist in the world (as far as they know), their studio is a Certified B Corporation™ which means that they have been independently reviewed and verified as a studio that meets high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. They have worked with a foundation supporting children with cancer, vegetable pioneers fighting food waste, a non-profit housing association and more. Being able to contribute to causes, people and businesses of this nature is their mission.

Naturens cyklus fascinerer mig. Fra egen livsforløb kender jeg til opblomstring og forfald. Min egen fortælling ser jeg ofte i naturens fortælling, og min kunst er dermed præget af naturens elementer i vækst og skønhed, til forfald og vissen. Jeg leger med fantaserende narrativer, med afsæt i virkeligheden, hvor flere års sygdom, har præget, og er gennemgående i mine værker. Mine illustrationer bliver ofte omtalt som små eventyr eller fortællinger. Min billeder er alle lavet med en historie eller tanke bag.
