Galerie Tamenaga
Galerie Tamenaga celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019. We opened our first flagship in Ginza in 1969, followed by flagship in Osaka, and Paris in 1971 as one of the first Japanese galleries in the centre of arts. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Paris flagship, we opened a new gallery in Kyoto in 2021. The founder was one of the pioneers to establish the western art market in Japan through his relationship with artists such as Foujita Tsuguharu, Bernard Buffet, Oguiss Takanori, Paul Aizpiri, and some of the distinguished collectors. Today, we represent artists from four corners of the world and continuously provide the most exceptional artworks to the hands of collectors. Find us in Tokyo, Paris, Osaka, and Kyoto.
