Hatko Aquaculture is the first offshore fish farm in Bodrum Mugla. The current capacity is around tonnes. Seabass and Sea Bream are the main types and most of the production is exported to European Countries. Hatko Aquaculture has Hatayli hatchery located in Ören with pieces capacity per year by Gokova Shore. Offshore cages are located 1 mile from Kucuk Tavsan Island and connected to 2 miles to Gundogan with 2 miles distance to the mainland. The area has good water quality so we are proud to have such an offshore facility.

Mehmet Sahin CAKAN who has been providing services to many fields in the fishery facility since 1991 established his forwarding company in 2005. Accordingly, he transported the fish supplied from the vessels by his own fleet and established Mehmet Sahin Cakan Balikcilik Ltd. Sti. in 2007 and now he continues his activity start ed with one fishing boat and today he has reached a total of 52 fishing vessels. His own success in this fishery business he became a president of lzmir Fisher Businessmen Association in 201O. He built the Cold Storage and the Fish Processing Facility in 2012. in 2013 he was elected as the member of council of lzmir Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Sahin Cakan wanted to send all these products all over World and he started exporting frozen fish to Greece first.
