Sola Kitchens is the leading supplier of bespoke Scandinavian style kitchens and furniture in the UK. Sola kitchens was founded by Sofia Bune Strandh in 2006. Whilst searching for kitchen furniture for her own flat in central London, Sofia had in her mind the high quality designs she was used to in her native Sweden. Unable to find just what she wanted in the UK she began a search for a company with the traditional carpentry techniques and designs she was looking for. Having had her kitchen installed, Sofia was so thrilled with the quality and style of her new kitchen that she gave up her career as a solicitor to start Sola Kitchens so that others could also benefit from the pleasure of Scandinavian kitchen design. The idea was to offer a wide range of bespoke options, to ensure that the clients’ every need could be met. A truly bespoke service combined with the highest quality of materials and great craftmanship was key. Sofia began to work together with the best bespoke cabinet makers in Sweden and Denmark to provide discerning clients in the UK with their dream kitchen, focusing on great design, the very best quality materials and perfect craftmanship. Sola Kitchens has since grown but the basic idea still remains the same. The tightly knitted team at Sola Kitchens work together to create beautiful and functional designs for our clients!
