Czech Development Agency - Czechaid
Czech Development Agency (CzechAid) is an agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic for bilateral projects of the Official Development Assistance (ODA) of the Czech Republic. The main tasks of the Agency are to design and monitor bilateral projects of the Czech ODA. At the same time it provides necessary support during the implementation phase of the projects. Currently, the Agency oversees projects in 12 countries on 3 continents. CzechAid actively cooperates with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), namely with the Czech Forum for Development Cooperation (FoRS), as well as private sector, above all with the Entrepreneurs’ Platform for Development Cooperation (PPZRS). CzechAid closely cooperates with other European donors, especially through its active membership in the Practitioners’ Network for European Development Cooperation. The Agency is an observer in the network of the European agencies EUNIDA. Businesses as well as other non-state entities can take part in the Agency’s tenders and grant schemes to become contractors of the Czech bilateral ODA projects. The Czech Fiscal Council
The Czech Fiscal Council is an independent expert body whose primary mission is to evaluate whether the state and other public institutions comply with the rules of budgetary responsibility set out by Act No. 23/2017 Coll. The activity of the Czech Fiscal Council also contributes to the sustainability of the Czech Republic’s public finances and reduces the risk of over-indebtedness of the state. The opinions and reports issued by the Czech Fiscal Council serve as inputs for the Czech government, the Chamber of Deputies and local and regional authorities so that they can plan and implement fiscal and budgetary policies as accurately and responsibly as possible. In addition, the outputs of the Czech Fiscal Council are also useful for the general public. With their assistance, every citizen can get a better understanding of the state of public finances and the direction they are taking. The Office of the Czech Fiscal Council was established at the same time as the Czech Fiscal Council in accordance with Act No. 23/2017 Coll. on the rules of budgetary responsibility, to ensure tasks associated with the professional, organisational, administrative, personnel-related and technical realisation of the work of the Czech Fiscal Council. The Office of the Czech Fiscal Council has two principal subdivisions – the administrative section and the macroeconomic and fiscal analyses section, both directly accountable to the Head of the Office of the Czech Fiscal Council. The Office of the Czech Fiscal Council is an organisational unit of the state and an accounting entity. Expenses for the work of the Czech Fiscal Council and the Office of the Czech Fiscal Council are covered by a separate chapter of the state budget.

The Office of the South Moravian Region for Interregional Cooperation was founded in 2003. It is the most convenient form for representing the South Moravian Region abroad and coordinating its activities with other foreign regions. For this purpose there is an office in Brno and other offices located abroad. The Office of the South Moravian Region for Interregional Cooperation has currently one office based abroad. On 1st September 2007 the Representation of the South Moravian Region to the European Union was founded in Brussels. In 2011 we started to closely cooperate also with Zadarska župa in Croatia.
