MOE Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia History: A formal education system took shape in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia when the General Education Management Center was established in Ramadan, 1344H, which laid out the first plan for a complete educational system. On 27 Muharram, 1346H, an Education Management Committee was formed which established a single system of education, with different educational levels. The first primary curriculum was designed by 1354H. During 1357H a private school system was also formalized. The Ministry of Education was formed in 1373H. The first education minister in the Kingdom was the late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Fahd Bin Abd AlAziz. The most significant achievements of the Ministry in its initial days were: 1. Creation of an administration plan for the Ministry of Education. Construction of schools and continually improving the standards of education. Laying the foundations of higher education with the inauguration of the King Saud University in Riyadh Aims: 1. To provide opportunities for education to every citizen of learning age, according to his abilities and inclinations, and to facilitate these opportunities by providing the appropriate infrastructure and services. To design and execute projects that cater to the requirements of the Ministry such as construction of educational buildings, and renovation of existing educational sites, by investing capital sums in the private sector for the implementation of such projects. To improve the curriculum and constantly upgrade the general education system so that it is in accordance with contemporary societal and industry requirements.

The National Center for Performance Measurement “ADAA” is an independent government body, founded on the 6th of Muharram 1437H after the Council of Ministers approved its establishment, based on the recommendation of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs. ADAA reports directly to the prime minister, and aims to build and initialize performance measurement processes in public entities by providing the necessary support through the utilization of unified tools and models that assist public entities in their ability and efficiency to deliver better performance. Due to the utmost need to enhance the valuation profession in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which is considered a vital element to secure public savings and fund assets, the Law of Accredited Valuers was issued pursuant to Royal Decree no.(m/43), dated (09/07/1433H) defining valuation as the process which determines the fair value of real estates, economic establishments, equipments or properties of different types for a specific purpose. The significance of the valuation profession lies in its need in many sectors, such as banks, insurance companies, real estate companies and state bodies in charge of expropriating ownerships. Valuation leads these sectors to important economic decisions, such as purchasing, selling, acquisition, merger, inheritance and partnerships division, disputes settlement, compensations, determining investment feasibility and substitution and the like. The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers "Taqeem" considers the valuation profession a promising profession in KSA and shall contribute to create many excellent job opportunities. The Authority aims to develop the valuation profession to reach a level par with notable professions, such as medicine, engineering and the like, through setting forth the necessary standards for the valuation assignments of real estates, economic establishments, equipments and movable property and so on. In addition to developing the valuation profession, raising the level of employees operating in such profession in terms of the ethical, technical and professional aspects, qualifying the young cadres via specialized programs as well as accrediting qualified valuers to practice the profession in all valuation sectors.

The Commission aims to protect and promote human rights in accordance with international human rights standards in all fields, raise awareness of them and contribute to ensuring the implementation of this in light of the provisions of Islamic Sharia. The Commission is the body competent to express opinion and advice on human rights issues.
