Sxm National Recovery Program Bureau
Following the devastation caused by hurricanes Irma and Maria, the Government of Sint Maarten embarked on a large-scale recovery and reconstruction program, based on the principle of building back a more resilient Sint Maarten. A significant component of this program is financed through the Sint Maarten Recovery, Reconstruction and Resilience Trust Fund that is financed by the government of the Netherlands, managed by the World Bank and implemented by the government of Sint Maarten. The National Recovery Program Bureau (NRPB) is responsible for the preparation, coordination, execution and evaluation of the projects that are financed through the Sint Maarten Trust Fund.

Conseil Économique Social Et Culturel De Saint-Martin
Le Conseil Économique Social et Culturel (CESC) est la 4ème institution, participant à la démocratie participative. Il représente la société civile Saint-Martinoise organisée. Véritable Think Tank Territorial, le CESC donne des avis, conseille et accompagne la Collectivité dans ses prises de décisions au service de l’intérêt général. Il a pour rôle de faire valoir l’expression citoyenne sur les sujets affectants la stratégie territoriale et le devenir de la Collectivité Territoriale de Saint-Martin. Le CESC est donc régulièrement consulté sur les effets des décisions territoriales et les enjeux à prendre en compte au profit de la communauté de destins que constitue la Communauté Saint-Martinoise. Son rôle et ses attributions sont régis par la loi organique. Issu de la société civile territoriale, le CESC est le garant de la participation citoyenne et du renouvellement des idées. C’est l’instrument de la démocratie participative de la Collectivité Territoriale.
