The Local Government Association (LGA) is the national voice of local government. We work with councils to support, promote and improve local government. Vera Autonoom Provinciebedrijf
VERA is het Vlaams-Brabants steunpunt e-government. De provincie richtte VERA in op als autonoom provinciebedrijf om gemeenten, OCMW’s, politiezones en intercommunales te begeleiden bij de invoering van e-government. Wij stimuleren samenwerking tussen de lokale besturen onderling, maken op die manier schaalvoordelen en kennisdeling mogelijk en bieden onafhankelijk advies. Naast deze gratis dienstverlening bieden we ook individuele ondersteuning op maat via een kostendelende formule. VERA maakt overleg, samenwerking en kennisdeling mogelijk om te voorkomen dat besturen apart dezelfde trajecten moeten doorlopen en schaalvoordelen te creëren. De tijd en middelen die daardoor vrijkomen, kunnen worden gebruikt om ICT beter in te zetten bij de uitvoering van het lokaal beleid. Zodoende kunnen besturen met dezelfde middelen een betere dienstverlening realiseren. Bij de coördinatie en ondersteuning van samenwerkingsverbanden overleggen we zowel met informatici als leidinggevenden en beleidsmakers. Het hof van beroep Antwerpen is werkzaam sinds 1 januari 1975 en is een afgesplitst onderdeel van het hof van beroep te Brussel. Het hof van beroep te Antwerpen is verantwoordelijk voor het gerechtelijk gebied Antwerpen, dit houdt de provincies Antwerpen en Limburg in. Concreet behandelt het hof het hoger beroep tegen vonnissen van de rechtbank van eerste aanleg en de rechtbank van koophandel te Antwerpen, Hasselt, Mechelen, Tongeren en Turnhout. Elk hof van beroep heeft een procureur-generaal, die de rol van het Openbaar Ministerie vervult in strafzaken voor het hof, maar tegelijk de hoogste gerechtelijke autoriteit is in het rechtsgebied van het hof. De huidige procureur-generaal is Patrick Vandenbruwaene; hij volgde in 2014 Yves Liégeois op. Eerste voorzitter van het hof van beroep is sinds 2019 Rob Hobin die Bruno Luyten opvolgde. In het hof van beroep Antwerpen worden sommige zaken afgehandeld via een videoconferentie. Rechtzoekenden en advocaten kunnen zo in Hasselt pleiten, terwijl de magistraten zich bevinden in het hof van beroep te Antwerpen. Zo speelt men in op de mobiliteitsproblemen die advocaten uit Limburg kennen.

ALS HET OM PAARDEN GAAT PaardenPunt Vlaanderen is de officiële koepelorganisatie van de Vlaamse paardensector. Wij vertegenwoordigen meer dan veertig erkende hippische verenigingen met honderdduizenden leden en ondersteunen - als erkende overlegpartner - de overheid bij de uitwerking en aanpassing van regelgeving. Door regelmatig overleg te plegen en intensief samen te werken, trachten we concrete problemen en opportuniteiten voor de paardensector aan te pakken. Hiertoe werden binnen het PaardenPunt drie subsectoren opgericht: Fokkerij Sport en recreatie Beroepen en opleidingen We werken voortdurend aan tal van nuttige projecten en campagnes en geven uitvoering aan het Vlaams Actieplan voor de Paardenhouderij, een toekomstvisie met concrete opdrachten die opgesteld werd door de Vlaamse overheid. U kan bij ons terecht voor: hulp bij al uw vragen; info rond alle aspecten van paardenhouderij; registratie en identificatie van uw paard, pony, ezel,… (verplicht in heel Europa). Al onze activiteiten zijn erop gericht de Vlaamse paardensector op een duurzame manier te versterken en verder uit te bouwen. PaardenPunt Vlaanderen ontstond uit de fusie van de Vlaamse Confederatie van het Paard (VCP) en het Vlaams Paardenloket. Alle diensten van de oorspronkelijke organisaties worden nu gegarandeerd door het PaardenPunt.
