In addition, we offer support for promotional events such as conferences, exhibitions and trade missions. The Embassy’s political department establishes and maintains bilateral relations with Ireland, in EU-context, as well as related to worldwide political issues in multilateral fora. The Embassy coordinates the cultural policy aimed at the promotion of Dutch arts abroad. We act as a liaison between professional arts organisations, media and policy makers in Ireland and their counterparts in the Netherlands and can sometimes be directly involved in the promotion of cultural activities.
