Jordan Investment Board (JIB) is a governmental organization which represents the key entity in Jordan's investment efforts. Established as a result of Jordan government’s realization of the significance of increasing foreign direct investment to Jordan and reinforcing local investments, JIB is committed to working with the private sector to promote Jordan for its unique business environment and diverse investment potential. JIB presents services for investment projects, and offers facilitation of relevant procedures for foreign and local investors through building linkages amongst provinces, private & public organizations and investors, supervising the enactment of the government's legislations in that regard, and opening all economic sectors to foreign direct investments inflicting equal treatment to local and foreign investors.

Higher Council For The Rights Of Persons With Disabilities Hcd

The Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities was established by virtue of the repealed Law No (31) of 2007 on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, initially under the name of the Higher Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities, as a public institution headed by His Royal Highness Prince Raad Bin Zeid. Under the chairmanship of His Royal Highness Prince Mired Raad Zeid Al-Hussein, the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities No (20) for the Year 2017 was issued, and the name of the Council was amended to the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. It became the first disability-focused government body to formulate policies, follow up on their implementation and provide technical and knowledge-based support to the executive bodies to implement their programs and plans in accordance with the provisions of the new Law. The Council is the main national reference point vis-à-vis policy-making and the implementation of monitoring processes through clear, scientific, and methodological mechanisms recognized by the new Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
