Eabc -The European Chamber Of Commerce Thailand
The European Chamber of Commerce Thailand (EABC), EABC was formed in late 2011 by a consortium of European chamber of commerce in Thailand, and European business (MNCs and SMEs). Acting as a ‘EuroCham Thailand’, with 12 working groups covering many industries, EABC is the voice of European business in Thailand. It is funded by its own members and by revenue from events. EABC publishes the European Business Position Paper approximately every two years (most recent is the 2019/2020 paper, published late 2019). EABCs main mission is to advocate member interests, to support European business in Thailand and to promote Thailand as an attractive partner for trade and investment. Many of our members are long-standing investors in Thailand, with a strong commitment to the Thai economy. We are keen to continue working closely with your Ministry in support of policy priorities and potential areas for collaboration, including on investment attractiveness, enhancing competitiveness, reforms to support ease of doing business. EABC has an interest in a meaningful and mutually beneficial future EU-Thailand FTA. EABC contributes towards the improvement of Trade & Investment in Thailand and fostering business cooperation between Europe and Thailand.

Partnerships For Infrastructure
Partnerships for Infrastructure (P4I) is an Australian Government initiative partnering with Southeast Asia to drive sustainable, inclusive, and resilient growth through quality infrastructure. P4I partners with Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). P4I works with partners to strengthen infrastructure decision-making and practice across the transport, energy, utilities and telecommunications sectors. P4I’s focus is on the early stages of the infrastructure lifecycle, including planning and prioritisation, financing strategy, and procurement. The 4 main services offered by P4I are linkages with Australian government agencies and other institutions, technical and policy advice, infrastructure project advice and knowledge-sharing and learning. As the foundation of quality infrastructure, P4I also integrates gender equality, disability, and social inclusion, and disaster risk reduction and climate change considerations into all activities. Delivered through a single team, P4I is led by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in collaboration with EY, Adam Smith International, The Asia Foundation and Ninti One.

National Institute Of Metrology Thailand
NIMT is Thailand’s National Metrology Institute. It is an ASEAN most advanced NMI and one of Asia’s centres of excellence in developing measurement standards and measurement methods for the benefit of industry, trade, society and science. NIMT was established by the National Metrology System Development Act B.E.2540 and was founded on 1 June 1998 as a public autonomous agency under supervision of the Ministry of Science and Technology. NIMT is entrusted by the law to establish, develop, and maintain the national measurement standards, in all disciplines, and to disseminate their accuracy and standards and norms, to measurement activities carried out in the country. It has also been tasked to promote metrology related professions. Developing and maintaining measurement standards and providing calibration services are, therefore, NIMT’s core competences.

Last year, Thanakorn Co. Ltd joined with INKA and the State Railway of Thailand set up a join venture company (JVC) INKA Thailand Co, to handle Thai government’ mega projects seven double-track railways spanning 933 kilometers worth a combined 113.66 billion baht ($3.76 billion). Thanakorn owns a 59 percent stake in the JVC, while INKA holds the remaining shares. The partnership also covers both parties’ presence in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Myanmar. The cooperation between the two parties in the form of 150 locomotives delivery. The partnership also covers both parties' presence in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. PT INKA bid on the procurement of 100 diesel-electric locomotives and a lease agreement for 50 locomotives, worth 6.2 billion baht. This project has been submitted to the SRT board for acknowledgment. The new locomotives will replace an old fleet that will soon be decommissioned. The project also aims to provide the extra locomotives to deal with several double-track railways that are set to be completed over the next few years, including the potential Jira-Ubon Ratchathani and Khon Kaen-Nong Khai rail lines.
