Office Of The Auditor General Zambia

The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) is the only Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) in Zambia mandated to audit all Government institutions, parastatal organizations, statutory boards, donor funded agencies and any other organisation in which public resources have been invested. The mandate of the Auditor General is derived from Article 249(1) of the Constitution of Zambia (Amendment) No. 2 of 2016, which states that "the shall be an Auditor General for the Republic whose Office shall be a Public Office and who shall, subject to ratification by the National Assembly be appointed by the President"

Comesa Secretariat

The history of COMESA began in December 1994 when it was formed to replace the former Preferential Trade Area (PTA) which had existed from the earlier days of 1981. COMESA (as defined by its Treaty) was established ‘as an organisation of free independent sovereign states which have agreed to co-operate in developing their natural and human resources for the good of all their people’ and as such it has a wide-ranging series of objectives which necessarily include in its priorities the promotion of peace and security in the region. However, due to COMESA’s economic history and background its main focus is on the formation of a large economic and trading unit that is capable of overcoming some of the barriers that are faced by individual states. COMESA’s current strategy can thus be summed up in the phrase ‘economic prosperity through regional integration’. With its 19 (now 21 since 18 July 2018) Member States, population of over 540 million and global trade in goods worth US$ 235 billion COMESA forms a major market place for both internal and external trading. Its area is impressive on the map of the African Continent covering a geographical area of 12 Million (sq km). The Human Rights Commission of Zambia is a National Human Rights Institution established by Section 230(1) of the Constitution of Zambia (Amendment) Act No. 2 of 2016. Its mandate is further established by the Human Rights Commission Act No. 4 of 2024. The Commission is mandated to promote and protect human rights and freedoms for all.

The End Malaria Council focused on three priority areas: Action & Accountability– Ensure the national strategic plan is implemented by driving action and holding stakeholders accountable. Resource Mobilization – Pursue traditional and innovative financing to mobilize domestic resources to close the existing funding gap. Advocacy for malaria elimination to remain high on public and private sector agendas.

The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia to Zambia is located in Lusaka and is the official representation of the Government of Serbia in Zambia. We work to promote and protect Serbia's interests in the Republic of Zambia whether it is working with the Serbian community, promoting Serbia economic interest or supporting the strong partnership between our two Governments. We also provide a range of key consular services. The embassy monitors situation in Zambia and communicates developments that are of interest to Serbia. In terms of culture, the embassy aims to promote mutual understanding in its work to implement Serbia cultural policy. It also tries to encourage qualified students from the host country to study in Serbia. With regard to the media, the embassy acts as an interface between the Serbian government and the official representations in the host country.
