Talking Mongoose
Talking Mongoose, founded in 2004, is a partnership of Isle of Man Creative Directors, Filmmakers, and Graphic Designers with two decades of experience. We craft: • Explainer videos with motion graphics to enhance learning and messaging. • Short-form social media videos and documentaries. • Creative AI - fusing AI visuals with video. • Brochures, white papers, application forms, exhibition stands, and lots more. • Large scale graphic design. Our backgrounds – Anne Marie previously worked in television production over several years and has directed, edited and scripted a documentary that was broadcast on Discovery Channel, and edited many other programmes for terrestrial and satellite channels; she also worked as a Graphic Artist for Sky One’s sci-fi series, Space Island One. Pedro is also a contemporary artist, exhibiting in various Art Fairs (Art Lisbon 2008, Art Santander 2008, Art Birmingham 2007). He has also exhibited at many venues collectively (Walker Museum Liverpool Biennial 2004, London Royal Academy Summer Show 2006, Doncaster Museum 2004), and has had solo exhibitions in Santander, Madrid, Liverpool, London, and the Isle of Man. He was also artist-in-residence at the Courtyard Gallery Isle of Man and the Bluecoat Liverpool. Anne Marie has a BA (hons) degree in Film and English Literature plus a Masters degree in Film and Television Production. Pedro has both a BA and Masters degree in Fine Art. Anne Marie recently published her debut novel, Where Acorns Landed. This was shortlisted for the international OZMA Book Awards for Fantasy Fiction and is a Wishing Shelf Book Awards Finalist.
