University Of Miskolc
The predecessor of the University of Miskolc was the school of mining and metallurgy in Selmecbánya in 1735, which was the world’s first higher education institution giving instruction in these fields (preceding Freiberg, Berlin and St Petersburg). In 1762, Maria Theresia gave the school academy status. From 1846, foresters were also trained in the institution. Later, the Selmec school served as a model for the establishment of European technical colleges. In 1920, as a result of the Trianon peace treaties, the academy had to move to Sopron, then since 1949 it settled down in Miskolc, where it became a university of heavy industry, consisting of the Faculties of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, and of the newly founded Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Law courses started in 1981, and an independent Faculty of Law was established in 1983. The Faculty of Economics was established in 1990, the Faculty of Arts followed in 1997. The technical faculties continue their activities as Faculties of Earth Science and Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering and Informatics. The first bachelor programme of the Institute of Healthcare was launched in 2001 to train district nurses, and in September 2004, the instruction of physiotherapists was also started here. In 2005, the institute was given faculty status therefore its present name is Faculty of Healthcare.

The University of Szeged (SZTE) with a history dating back to 1581, is located in Szeged, the sunniest city of Hungary According to QS, SZTE is the best University in Szeged for many years. Since Hungary is a member of the European Union it also has EU accreditation. Outstanding professors have worked at the university, including the Nobel Laureate Albert Szent-Györgyi (1937), who was the first to isolate Vitamin C, extracting it from Szeged paprika. Our mission is to act as catalyst of societal progress through a twofold approach; a center for exemplary research, social action and entrepreneurial initiatives and an internationally recognised programme of education designed to nurture a community of future leaders within Hungary. On the 7th Anniversary of its founding, the Milestone Institute has a vibrant and diverse community of over 300 high-school students spread across our four-year academic programme; over 500 alumni at many of the world’s top 100 universities; and a teaching community of nearly 100 academics. Milestone students come from over 90 different high schools and from all parts of Hungary, and some even from as far as Austria, Slovakia or Serbia. We offer over 130 academic modules ranging from classics to neuroscience, spread across an academic year with three teaching terms. Our students have won numerous national and international Olympiads and awards and regularly attend international conferences. University Of Debrecen Ud -Faculty Of Economics And Business
The University of Debrecen, like other integrated institutions of higher The Faculty of Economics and Business is a division of the long-established University of Debrecen. Higher education in Debrecen, Hungary dates back to the 16th century. The Reformed College of Debrecen, since it was established in 1538 has played a central role in education, teaching in the native language, and spreading Hungarian culture within the nearby region and throughout the nation. In 1912 the Hungarian Royal University of Sciences was founded. The contemporary University of Debrecen has been created in year by the merger of its legal predecessors: Debrecen University of Agricultural Sciences, Debrecen Medical University, Wargha István College of Education, Hajdúböszörmény and Kossuth Lajos University of Arts and Sciences (icl. Ybl Miklós Polytechnic ). The Faculty of Economics and Business is the youngest faculty of the Debrecen University and the largest one regarding the number of its students. This new Faculty was created by the integration of the Faculty of Applied Economics and Rural Development, with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration as of 1 August, 2014. As a result, the academic experience and scientific research of these two legal predecessors made up a pool of joint resources that provides a wide spectrum of educational and research services for both students and stakeholders. The educational fields of the Department encompass agriculture, economic, sports sciences, and humanities. The fame and popularity of the Faculty are also in evidence by the multiple academic fields on offer as well as the fact that the majority of our students continue their studies at the Faculty. Department Of Polymer Engineering, Budapest University Of Technology And Economics
The Department of Polymer Engineering of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics is one of the most important educational and research institutes in Hungary when it comes to polymers and polymer composites. The two research groups of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) operating in the Department also show the research potential of the department. Our technological and laboratory facilities for the development, production and testing of polymers and their composites are also outstanding in an international context. The research, development and innovation activities at our Department have been recognized with the MTA Centre of Excellence and NKFIH TOP50 Excellent Research Infrastructure awards. We are actively engaged in research, development and innovation activities in most areas of polymer engineering: • Material development and compounding of thermoplastic polymers/biopolymers, and processability tests with pilot-scale extrusion equipment. • The recycling of thermoplastic polymers and rubber materials, as well as the compostability of biopolymers in the spirit of the circular economy. • Examination of the morphology of polymers, thermal analysis, exploration of material structure–property relationships. Development, modelling and testing of functional polymers. • Development of lightweight, intelligent, multifunctional polymer composites and coatings. Development and recycling of polymer composites from renewable sources, as well as recyclable-by-design composites. • Practical applications of Industry 4.0 in mass production. Technological integration between injection moulding and 3D printing. Development of T-RTM technology. • Development of customizable polymer and metal-polymer implants and medical devices. • Development of polymer-based energy cell components. • Material and technology development of elastomers, and polymer/biopolymer foams. • Development of polymer packaging systems.
