Knowledge of the ART, founded by its Owner Director, Irshad JACKARIA (BCom[Hons],MSc,MCIPS,CFA), started its operations in July 2003, and today in 2025, we are in our 22nd successive year of operations. We offer MQA-Approved courses in the field of Banking, Finance, Business & Soft Skills, Supervisory Skills, Decision Making Skills, Sales & Marketing, Purchasing & , Stores and Warehousing, Supply Chain & Logistics, as well as in specialist areas like Private Banking, Wealth Management & Investment. In 2004, Irshad won the title of “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” of the Shell LiveWire, for Knowledge of the ART. He then represented Mauritius at the Shell LiveAward ceremony, in London, in June 2005. In 2006, we introduced, as a pioneer in Mauritius, our course entitled “Banking Operations and Management”. This course, developed and lectured by Irshad JACKARIA since 2006, is still being run year in and year out, up till date. Today, we have our past students, working in all of the 21 banks in Mauritius. In 2008, with the success of the Banking course, Irshad developed and launched a novel course, entitled “Financial Services and Investment Planning”, geared towards the stock market and the investment world. Over the recent years, we have again innovated by coming up with courses in the area of Private Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Calculations, as well as high level prep maasterclasses for participants in the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) exams for Level 1, 2 and 3. Since 2023, we have started our AI crusade. As the pioneers in Mauritius, we offer specialised courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning. Centre For Legal And Business Studies Clbs
CLBS was set-up in 2005 and is licensed by the Tertiary Education Commission to operate as a post-secondary training institution. CLBS is also licensed by the Mauritius Qualifications Authority (MQA). CLBS specializes in the provision of legal and business courses and has a current student population of about one hundred (100) students. Since our inception, we have trained in excess of 500 students, principally on the LLB (Hons) Degree offered by the University of London Distance Learning programme but also more recently on the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) programme. We are the first (and currently the only institution) that has been approved to enter the candidacy phase of the recognition process, with a view to becoming a University of London Registered Centre. We also run every year a series of professional workshops for the financial industry on topics such as Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering, Trust and Company Administration, Tax Planning and Fund Administration and the total number of delegates that have attended our professional training workshops over the years is close to around Since 2008, we are also running professional workshops in Seychelles in partnership with SIBA, the regulator for non-bank financial services business and SOAPRA, Seychelles Association Of Offshore Practioners & Registered Agents. Stat Consul
At its outset in 1997, Stat Consul was offering solely services in quantitative data analysis for undergraduate and postgraduate students for about a decade. With the high demands of the academic market and of domestic life commitments, students started querying about the feasibility of providing other dissertation-related services to the likes of writing research proposals, questionnaire design, literature reviewing, write-up of research methodology, qualitative analysis, and formatting and referencing. Sookdeo Bissoondoyal State College
The foundation stone of Sookdeo Bissoondoyal State College (SBSC) was laid in 1974, when it was first created in an old railway station building with a school population of 128 boys at that time. In 1979, the college shifted to a new building (Phase A), currently at Chapelle Lane, Rose Belle. Extensions were made in to accommodate a well-equipped Design and Technology workshop and a gymnasium. Today in 2013, SBSC has a school population of 784 boys. SBSC has forged its reputation over time with the outcome of 2 laureates during its existence. Moreover, Sookdeo Bissoondoyal State College has witnessed exponential changes influenced by great educational reforms of the different governing parties. In 2005, it was transformed to an Upper Secondary School, also known as a Form VI school. When the system was subsequently abolished, SBSC (which has always had a good reputation) was transformed into one of the few national colleges with the reintroduction of Form I to VI classes.
