Tarlac State University
Tarlac State University is a public institution of higher learning in Tarlac City, Tarlac with more than students and 1,200 faculty members and staff. Its core programs are centered on technology, engineering, accountancy, and education offering 33 baccalaureate degree programs and 10 graduate programs in arts, sciences, social sciences, law, criminology, governance, business, and computer studies. TSU also offers a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering Mathematics) strand for Senior High School students under its Laboratory School which was reopened in 2021. TSU is the first university in the country to achieve the Integrated Management System Certification awarded by the United States Accreditation Services which covers ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and OHSAS 18001: 2007. By 2021, TSU maintained its ISO 9001:2015 certification. In 2022, TSU was awarded the Recognition for Proficiency in Quality Management in the 24th cycle of the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) – the highest level of national recognition for exemplary organizational performance that aims to recognize the achievements of both public and private organizations for their efforts towards performance excellence. Furthermore, TSU is currently a holder of a Level IV Institutional Accreditation, with 100% accredited programs, from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc.(AACCUP). To add, TSU is the first SUC in Region to attain the highest level of AACCUP Institutional Accreditation. With its aim to provide quality tertiary education, TSU is evaluated as SUC Level by the Commission on Higher Education. Moreover, the university has been appraised through the Institutional Sustainability Assessment (ISA) of CHED in 2019 and received the passing mark on March 4, 2021.
