Tarsus University

Tarsus Üniversitesi’nin temelleri 1992 yılında Mersin Üniversitesi’ne bağlı olarak kurulan Tarsus Meslek Yüksekokulu ve Tarsus Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu ile atılmıştır. 2001 yılında Tarsus Teknik Eğitim Fakültesi, 2005 yılında Tarsus Uygulamalı Teknoloji ve İşletmecilik Yüksekokulu, 2009 yılında Tarsus Teknoloji Fakültesi ve 2015 yılında Havacılık ve Uzay Bilimleri Fakültesi kurulmuştur. Tarsus Üniversitesi, 18 Mayıs 2018 tarihli ve 30425 sayılı Resmi Gazete’ de yayımlanan 7141 sayılı “Yükseköğretim Kanunu İle Bazı Kanun ve Kanun Hükmünde Kararnamelerde Değişiklik Yapılmasına Dair Kanun" ile kurulmuştur. Bu kanunla, Mersin Üniversitesi’ne bağlı olan yukarıdaki akademik birimlerin bağlantıları değiştirilerek Tarsus Üniversitesi’ne bağlanmıştır. Ayrıca, kanunla birlikte iki yeni fakülte ve bir enstitü kurulmuştur: İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi, İnsan ve Toplum Bilimleri Fakültesi ve Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü. 18 Nisan 2019 Resmi Gazetede yayımlanan 17/04/2019 tarih ve 968 sayılı Cumhurbaşkanı Kararı ile Mühendislik Fakültesi kurulmuştur. 25 Haziran 2019 Resmi Gazete’de yayımlanan 24/06/2019 tarih ve 1157 sayılı Cumhurbaşkanı Kararı ile Uygulamalı Teknoloji ve İşletmecilik Yüksekokulu kapatılarak, Uygulamalı Bilimler Fakültesi kurulmuştur. 8 Ocak 2020 Resmi Gazete’de yayımlanan 07/01/2020 tarih ve 2036 sayılı Cumhurbaşkanı Kararı ile Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi kurulmuştur. 21 Mayıs 2020 tarihi Yükseköğretim Genel Kurulu kararı ile Mersin Tarsus Organize Sanayi Bölgesi Teknik Bilimler Meslek Yüksekokulu kurulmuştur. 29 Haziran 2021 tarihli Resmi Gazete’de yayımlanan 28/06/2021 tarih ve 4180 sayılı Cumhurbaşkanı Kararı Yabancı Diller Yüksekokulu kurulmuştır. Böylelikle, Tarsus Üniversitesi, 1 enstitü, 7 fakülte, 1 yüksekokul ve 3 meslek yüksekokulundan teşekküldür.

The foundation of Erciyes University was laid with Gevher Nesibe Faculty of Medicine established as an affiliate of Hacettepe University, in 1969. Ankara University Biotechnology Institute

Ankara University Biotechnology Institute is Turkey’s first higher education institute dedicated to interdisciplinary biotechnology.
