Ubuntu Village Of Life
Ubuntu Village of Life is an internationally recognized non-profit organization committed to providing quality maternal and child health care to millions of poverty-stricken people living in Burundi, a rural Sub-Saharan Africa through a holistic integrated health care, education, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), nutrition, and food security training programs. Established in 2019, UVL is supported by the Burundi Government, US Government, USAID, and private foundations such as Madiro, Amaziwater, PSI Burundi as well as local and national organizations, US Embassy, and local communities. These partnerships work to address some of the most challenging problems facing low-income countries today, including: Poverty, Health care, Education, Nutrition, and Food security through an integrated health, education, nutrition, and food security programs. From 2020 to 2022, UVL reach 30,868 persons through health care, education, WASH, nutrition, and food security programs. There was 18% increase among beneficiaries in year 2 thanks to our quality service and to the generosity of our donors including US Embassy, USAID/PSI, and Madiro Foundation.
