The Institute of Oncology Ljubljana, founded in 1938, is the leading state institution for comprehensive cancer treatment in Slovenia, with a modern and multidisciplinary approach. V družbi DEOS razvijamo lastne procese in znanja, da lahko vsem našim stanovalcem vedno nudimo najustreznejšo in najboljšo oskrbo. Z najrazličnejšimi aktivnostmi stanovalce neprestano spodbujamo k čim bolj aktivnemu in samostojnemu življenju. Posebno pozornost namenjamo tudi svojcem naših stanovalcev, da v vsakem trenutku dobijo potrebne informacije. Smo soustanovitelj Združenja koncesionarjev domov za starejše – GIZ in evropskega združenja nacionalnih zvez domov za starejše European Confederation of Care Home Organisations (ECHO), v katerih aktivno sodelujemo. V slovenskem združenju si prizadevamo za boljši položaj takšnih ustanov pri nas in s tem za boljše pogoje vseh stanovalcev centrov za starejše. S partnerji doma in v tujini se povezujemo tudi preko projekta CrossCare (INTERREG V-A ITALIA-SLOVENIJA 2014-2020; JAVNI RAZPIS 4/2016 ASSE 4 – Prednostne naložbene naloge 11 CTE). Splošni cilj projekta je okrepiti zmogljivosti sodelovanja javnih organov ter izvajalcev na področju dolgotrajne oskrbe starejših.
