Welcome to "Prins Hendrik Suites" We are located in one of the beautiful monumental buildings in the historic heart of Paramaribo. Prins Hendrik ( Schwerlin, 19 april 1876 ) was married to Queen Wilhemina of the Netherlands. Suriname was a colony of the Netherlands from 1667 until 1954. In 1954 Suriname became a sovereign country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands and became independent in 1975 as the Republic of Suriname. Rest, relax or read a book in one of the hammocks in our beautiful garden and enjoy the benefits of being on walking distance to all main attractions and restaurants. Since 2023, Queen Maxima has been opened as a new location. We offer three independent and fully facilitated apartments with a kitchen, big garden, balcony, and jacuzzi. At Queen Maxima we also offer a luxurious and spacious villa, called Claus-Casimir. With all conveniences and privacy, our guests have the possibility to relax in the hammock's or jacuzzi and enjoy the garden. Make yourself at home in one of our luxurious suites at our different locations in the heart of Paramaribo, each stylishly furnished for your convenience with free use of wireless internet, minibar and other amenities that the business or leisure traveler needs.
