The Iveagh Trust
Founded by Edward Cecil Guinness in 1890, The Iveagh Trust is the oldest housing charity in Ireland. We are a statutory trust established under the Iveagh Trust Acts 1899–1961 and a registered housing charity. The Trust is an Approved Housing Body and operates on a not-for-profit basis. Today, the Trust provides over 1640 homes around Dublin, offering a range of housing options including general needs housing for families, supported housing for older people and accommodation for men experiencing homelessness at the Iveagh Hostel. Our Mission: The core mission of the Iveagh Trust is the provision and management of quality housing and everything we do is directed towards furthering this aim. Our mission as set down in our founding deed is: “The amelioration of the conditions of the working population of Dublin and their modes and manner of living, by the provision of improved dwellings”. Building Communities: Our aim is not just to provide homes, but to put in place the supports and services to help our communities thrive. A team of dedicated estate managers and caretakers are on hand to help make our communities great places to live. Many staff also live in our communities and we strive to provide an on-site estate management service, seven-days, year-round.

Neighbourwood Communities
NeighbourWood Communities is an Irish climate infrastructure company building net-zero woodland communities—developments where half the land becomes high-performance homes and half becomes permanently protected native woodland. THE MODEL Every site we develop follows a simple rule: 50% homes, 50% forest. Forever. The homes are net-zero, built with modular construction, and equipped with integrated energy systems—solar, battery storage, ground-source heat pumps, and EV charging. The woodland is native Irish species, legally protected in perpetuity through a dedicated land stewardship trust. Homeowners pay a transparent annual fee covering estate management, woodland stewardship, and energy infrastructure. The energy savings exceed the fees—so residents come out ahead while living next to a protected forest. THE BUSINESS We operate three revenue engines- Development profits from building and selling homes - Perpetual stewardship fees that grow with each community - Export licensing of our model to UK and EU partners THE TEAM Founded by Neal and Esther Anderson, a husband-wife team relocating their family from California to Ireland. They're purchasing a home in their first development and living alongside residents—betting their personal capital on the model they're asking others to believe in. THE OPPORTUNITY Europe is short 9.6 million homes. 80% of EU habitats are in poor condition. The EU Nature Restoration Law and UK Biodiversity Net Gain requirements are creating regulatory tailwinds for integrated solutions. We're proving the model in Ireland, then licensing it across the UK and EU. Housing and nature. Together. Profitably. Permanently. Dublin, Ireland hello@neighbourwood.ie
