Ohra
OHRA helps low-income people build better lives through access to social service resources. By helping people move from crisis to stability, OHRA builds more capable individuals, stronger families, and a better community. We achieve this mission through three core programs: OHRA Community Resource Center (OCRC) is the only walk-in resource center serving Jackson County, offering these basic services: • Housing Match helps unhoused people find housing and resources to become stable and housing threatened people to stay housed by providing short-term rent or utilities assistance and other resources. • Job Match gives job search assistance to help people find employment. • Essential Services are resources that enable guests to overcome barriers to moving forward, including but not limited to assistance to purchase critical items such as a birth certificate or Oregon ID; help applying for benefits and navigating systems including e.g. OHP or Social Security; and, access to internet, telephone and U.S. mail. The OHRA Emergency Shelter (OES) is a year-round, non-congregate facility providing emergency housing and meals to vulnerable unhoused people for up to 6-months. During their stay, guests have access to support navigation services where trauma-informed staff work alongside guests to help them develop a housing plan, gain employment, or access services to support long-term health and well-being. The OHRA Laundry and Shower Trailer (OLST) where unhoused people can access basic hygiene services. OHRA’s staff of Resource Navigators are the heart of every program offered at the Center, placing the guest at the center of our service, and working alongside them with a trauma-informed approach. By building relationships rooted in trust, OHRA Resource Navigators help identify and meet the most pressing needs of guests. Our goal is to be a “one-stop shop” where a guest can find everything they need to move from crisis to stability.

Opportunities For Hope
Opportunities for Hope is a private, non-profit organization providing shelter, nutritional assistance, substance abuse, and domestic violence services and other related programs to homeless persons, the unemployed, families, women, children, veterans, and the disable, while also emphasizing the dignity of each individual. This means that every person we serve is created equal and should be treated that way - we emphasize the dignity of the individual, and through our programs encourage and assist each client to become self-sufficient. A related mission is to educate the public concerning the problem of homelessness and further to advocate possible solutions as well as those related problems such as domestic violence, substance abuse and nutritional assistance. Opportunities for Hope is working on permanent solutions to homelessness by providing a progression of emergency shelter and support when needed, transitional and permanent housing when possible and practical; and individual support and guidance to encourage and assist our clients in becoming self-sufficient and hopefully if the person has the ability to become gainfully employed and become an active participant of the community. Finding more permanent solutions to social ills requires us to work with other community providers, public agencies, individuals, and private business so we can offer a comprehensive set of services aimed at getting people off the street where they can be safe and then we work closely with them and service providers to help them become self-sufficient. Bright Spot Sober Living Inc
Bright Spot Sober Living provides transitional housing for women in recovery from Substance Use Disorder. We start by providing safe homes with accountability and structure; a safe place to land after treatment or detox. We then provide resources for our residents to reintegrate into society, and teach life skills they may not have previously had access to. Our residents are required to attend meetings, complete a weekly chore, be home by curfew, and follow all life skills. Each house has a live-in House Manager that guides our residents and holds them accountable to following the rules. They hold a house meeting once a week and discuss their progress, the meetings they went to that week, and hold them accountable to obtaining employment and working with a sponsor or mentor. We have a Case Management program, in which we assist our residents in areas of life that may feel overwhelming. We guide them and provide resources in the following areas-Obtaining affordable health insurance -Scheduling doctor, therapist, and psychiatrist appointments -Receiving dental work -Creating a resume -Opening a bank account -We provide them with a bus pass or bicycle if they do not have means of transportation -Getting their drivers license -Grocery shopping and cooking -Budgeting and saving -Time management and prioritizing Once we narrow down the areas in which each resident need help in, we create a plan of action along with goals for that residents, and help them navigate the waters.

Humankind Services
HumanKind was born from the belief that every person matters. I believe every human deserves food, water, proper and safe shelter, and clothing no matter their background, income, ability or color. This should not be a radical belief, however I am often challenged on it. Because of those challenges to this belief, I work harder to do what I can to help people in need of those things. HumanKind provides Housing Stabilization services because of the large scope of assistance that may be provided to people who need it most. The approach of HumanKind is to walk along side clients to stabilize a client's current housing first and foremost. We then begin working with clients to find better fit housing in transition services or sustaining the housing long term in sustaining services. HumanKind is dedicated to a person-centered approach; All clients are encouraged to make decisions based on their own wants and needs without judgement.
