Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA) is an industry association which cover individuals and companies incorporated in Malaysia who are involved directly or related to Semiconductor Industry (Electronics and Systems), Semiconductor Industry supply chain, institutions providing significant related services to semiconductor industry such as engineering, finance, legal and those societies, associations, chambers and government - linked agencies. MSIA has 4 key objectives.(1) R&D and Technology – To Strategically Develop Malaysia’s semiconductor industry including electronics and systems by nurturing and growing the complete semiconductor eco-system.(2) Eco-system – To elevate Malaysia’s semiconductor companies’ global market position and value chain by enhancing their capabilities and capacities.(3) Advocacy – To be the collective voice of the semiconductor industry by advocating industry’s challenges and building positive relationships with the government and its agencies, and other industry associations and chambers of commerce.(4) Global Competitiveness – To collaborate with the government on strategies formulation and policy advocacy to enable Malaysia’s semiconductor industry, including electronics and systems, to be globally competitive.

The Institute of Marketing Malaysia (IMM) is the only registered Institute in the country established for the purpose of serving the marketing fraternity in Malaysia. IMM was founded in 1977 by YBM Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah who also became the Institute’s first Patron. Next, YB Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz from 1985 until April 2008. The next Patron of IMM was YAB Tan Sri Haji Muhyiddin Yassin for the term May 2008 to April 2009. Currently, the Patron of IMM is YB Dato’ Mustapa Mohamed, Minister Of International Trade And Industry Malaysia. Formed under the Society’s Act in 1979, the Institute has assisted and will continue to assist, train and bring together marketers from various businesses and industries with one common goal and that is to improve the marketing skills of its members. The primary objective of the Institute as enshrined in its Constitution is “ to organise, oversee, maintain, promote, protect and assist by all lawful means the rights and interests of marketing practitioners in Malaysia, especially those who are members of the Institute”. Members of IMM are affiliated to the esteemed Asia Pacific Marketing Federation (APMF) as well as the World Marketing Association (WMA). IMM and its members currently have global access to a truly international platform for marketing networks, which is a valuable ‘infrastructure’ for building business in the emerging, borderless world.

THE Institutional Investors Council Malaysia (IIC) was formed on 3 July 2015 as an investor-led organisation following the launch of the Malaysian Code for Institutional Investors (MCII) on 27 June 2014. The role played by the institutional investors has been recognised as critical in the governance ecosystem by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and was encapsulatedas one of the recommendations in the Corporate Governance Blueprint 2011. The IIC plays an important role to represent the common interests of institutional investors in Malaysia. This industry-led initiative will be a platform to shape and influence a wider sphere of corporate governance culture through, among others, the effective adoption of the MCII. The IIC was formally established under the Societies Act 1966 on 29 December 2017. IT is the mission of the IIC to promote effective investors stewardship by influencing higher standards of corporate governance within institutional investors themselves and their investee companies through the implementation of the following objectives: 1. To represent the interests of institutional investors on matters affecting them and to act as a conduit between policymakers, regulators and institutional investors in relation to broader corporate governance issues; 2. To provide vision and strategic direction in relation to the development of the Institutional Investors Council Malaysia (IIC) and future enhancement to the Malaysian Code for Institutional Investors (MCII); 3. To advocate, provide guidance, and monitor the adoption of the MCII among institutional investors and encouraging institutional investors to become signatories of the MCII; and 4. To be the platform to influence good corporate governance culture by public-listed companies as envisaged in the Corporate Governance Blueprint 2011.

We are an Association registered with the Registrar of Societies under the Societies Act 1966 (Societies Regulations 1984) under the name of the Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel Association [MyBHA](Formally Known as The Malaysia Budget Hotel Association [MBHA] with the Registration No. PPM-006-14-01082001. The association was formed in 2001 under the initiative of YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir who was the past Minister of Culture, Arts and Tourism then with its objective to represent the common interests of all budget hotels in Malaysia particularly for the two star rated hotels and below. In year 2019, the Association has changed its name to Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel Association (MyBHA) with its objective to represent as well as dignifying the common interests of the budget & business hotels Industry in Malaysia particularly for the three star rated hotels and below. The Association is now responsible in representing and assisting licensed and registered budget & business hotels in Malaysia towards bringing and / or escalating all issues faced by our members to the responsible and relevant parties and/or agencies in enhancing the image of the budget & business hotel industry under three stars in particular and the tourism industry in general.
