Tanzania Occupational Health and Safety Association (TOHASA) is a national professional association founded on 8th August 2022 by 13 Health and Safety professionals from different industries such as Telecommunication, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, financial, Construction and Mining. TOHASA was registered on 4th December 2022 under The Societies Act (CAP.337 R.E. 2002) with registration number in the Registrar of Societies in the Ministry of Home Affairs. TOHASA aims to focus on supporting the development of world-class health and safety practices, providing a collective voice for the profession, adding value to Tanzanian industries as well as working to improve health and safety for future generations. VISION To make occupational safety and health management an integral part of every sector in Tanzania MISSION To create a positive mindset towards the implementation of health and safety across all industries and promote occupational health and safety knowledge.

Tanzania Innovation Hubs Network
Tanzania Innovation Hubs Network (THN) is a pioneering network of innovation support organizations in Tanzania, with over 50 member hubs from across Tanzania, including both mainland and Zanzibar. The innovation ecosystem in Tanzania has grown significantly over the past decade, from a few innovation hubs in 2014 to over 60 hubs today. However, despite this progress, gaps remain in funding, coordination among hubs, capacity building, training for new hub managers, and advocacy for favorable policies, hindering the ecosystem's potential and leaving entrepreneurs without adequate support. Recognizing these challenges, THN has been established to empower Tanzania’s innovation hubs through capacity building, technical assistance, resource mobilization, and enhanced collaboration among hubs and ecosystem players, aiming to support innovators and entrepreneurs from all backgrounds to create employment opportunities for youth and women, and drive sustainable socio-economic development in the country. Vision A sustainable community amplifying the impact and visibility of Tanzania’s innovation hubs. Mission To build a diversified and inclusive innovation ecosystem in Tanzania through knowledge and resources sharing, support services, facilitating collaborations between hubs and with other ecosystem players, and creating a united voice for policy influence. Long-term Impact We envision a future where every region in Tanzania is a thriving ecosystem of innovation. Every entrepreneur will have access to the support and resources they need to succeed, and amplified collective efforts to drive sustainable socio-economic development across the nation.
