Nizami Ganjavi International Center

We assemble scores of current and former heads of state or government who are not burdened by active day to day politics. They, together with dozens of academics from 60 countries worldwide, efficiently discuss pressing world issues and draw up recommendations based on their vast expertise and knowledge for the good of mankind. The Baku Forums held annually with scores of former and current heads of state or government and representatives of worldwide academia are an excellent venue for vibrant discussions and analyses how to make the world a better, more tolerant and safer place. The two-day discussions held in the framework of each Global Baku Forum focus on a range of topical global issues, including ethnic and other conflicts, terror threats, development of democracy, education, environment, energy security, inter- religious dialogue, and the role of women in maintaining peace. NGIC is firmly convinced that in a very unsafe and unstable world that we now live in, every conference like the Baku Forum which seeks ways to remedy the current problems, to promote religious, ideological and other tolerance, human rights and freedoms is not just necessary but indispensable as that precious platform from which divergent views are heard and discussed, for the betterment of us all. NGIC also organizes regional conferences with its local partners to assess issues and offer remedies to problems plaguing a given region. We draw our strength and wisdom not only from our members today, but also from our illustrious forefather Nizami Ganjavi, a 12th-century Azerbaijani poet, considered the greatest romantic epic poet in the world literature. His poetry has influenced the development of Azeri, Arabic, Turkish, Kurdish and Urdu poetry amongst many other languages but also modern writers and musicians like Eric Clapton whose global hit "Layla" was inspired by Nizami's story of "Layla and Majnun".

International Eurasia Press Fund Iepf

The International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization, established in Azerbaijan in 1992 at the height of the Nagorno-Karabakh War. It operates in four key areas: Media Development, Conflict Resolution, Refugee/IDP Issues, and Civil Society Development. Today the IEPF employs over 90 staff, with offices in Baku and a vocational training center in Terter district for victims of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, including land mine survivors, IDPs and Refugees. Ongoing work with IDP vocational trainings, legal assistance, and mine risk education (MRE) serves as a benchmark of regional operations. Partners include: UN Agencies, US State Department Bureaus, Embassies, The World Bank, and The Azerbaijan Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA). Since January 2014, the IEPF maintains General Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC. The IEPF is a member of the European Council on Refugees and Exile and has representation on the boards of both the International Peace Bureau and International Press Institute. Since 2007, the IEPF has also been a member of the State Department’s Public-Private Partnership Program of the Military-Political affairs office of Weapons Removal and Abatement (WRA).

Center Of Analysis Of International Relations

Established in Baku, Azerbaijan in February, 2019 the Center for Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) is a policy research think-tank that produces innovative analysis on ongoing global and regional processes in Azerbaijan and outside, with a focus on conducting fundamental researches into various aspects of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and international relations and security issues. As the AIR Center, we bring together leading and diverse thought leaders, experts, scholars and members of the public representing different points of view, who provide the highest quality research, policy recommendations and analysis. The Center provides a selection of newsletters and notifications to keep you updated on the work of our scholars and its impact and approach in relation to the daily issues, breaking news, and so on.

The University was established on November 8, 2016 by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to improve the teaching of engineering technologies in the Republic of Azerbaijan and prepare highly qualified personnel in this sphere.
