Campaigns to lobby over a longer period of time for a specific federalist cause; Street actions mobilising the entire network to raise awareness of burning European issues among the general public; International events such as seminars and trainings on a wide range of topics in different EU and non-EU countries; A multilingual, interactive webzine thenewfederalist.eu where youth can voice its opinion in articles on current European affairs; Projects that implement a specific goal and for which specific funding was received; Press releases for the advocacy of our objectives towards both public and private organisations. Our network is volunteer-based and youth-led. Besides a few staff members in the headquarters in Brussels, most of our members listing JEF experiences on their LinkedIn profiles are volunteers. They develop strong project and event management skills, knowledge about EU policies and affairs, as well as lobbying and advocacy competences. ECES is an independent, non partisan and not for profit Foundation headquartered in Brussels with a global remit. ECES was established at the end of 2010 and has implemented activities already in more than 50 countries, mainly, but not only, in Africa and the Middle East, primarily with funding from the EU and EU Member states. ECES promotes electoral and democratic strenghtening through the provision of advisory services, operational support and management of large projects mainstreaming capacity and leadership development via peer exchanges and comparative experiences, dialogue and the prevention and mitigation of electoral conflicts.
