As specified in Executive Order No. 265 issued by former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, the Office of the Special Envoy on Transnational Crime is mandated to set policy directions and program design standards and advise the President on all matters regarding transnational crime. Nonviolence International Southeast Asia
Nonviolence International Southeast Asia is a nongovernmental organization that has been working on peacebuilding, conflict transformation, humanitarian disarmament, and peace processes in the region since 1992. In 2005, Nonviolence International was granted NGO in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. NISEA is involved in various campaigns and treaty negotiations and was a board member of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL) and regional lead in the Cluster Munitions Coalition (CMC). NISEA is serving as a Board Member of the global Control Arms Campaign pushing for universalization of the Arms Trade Treaty in the region, a member of the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, a member of the International Network on Explosive Weapons (INEW) and co-convener of the Stop Bombing campaign, and a member of the Stop Killer Robots Campaign. Currently, NISEA serves as the fiscal sponsor of the Philippine Campaign to Ban Landmines, the Stop Bombing campaign and the Building Peace by Teaching Peace project in South Thailand.
