Alibaba International Center was established in 2005 and got affiliated to International House in 2015 to prove its dedication to quality teaching, facilities and student care. IH Amman is an established and well-known language school in Amman, with years of experience in providing language courses and teacher training programmes. So whether you’d like to study a modern language; learn English for business or pleasure, or teach English, we have the course for you. We are the leading training organization in Jordan being the only CELTA providers with more than 150 candidates in the past 4 years. Our center is a leading institute in teaching Arabic as a second/ foreign language. We cater to different needs by offering group classes as well as one-on-one for MSA (Fusha), Jordanian colloquial Arabic and Arabic for different purposes (political and religious.etc). Naturally, Students need to take an online placement test and an oral interview before being placed into their corresponding level. upon arrival, students are places in accommodation that is 5 minute walk away from the center.

Società Dante Alighieri - Comitato Di Amman
Amman Committee of “Società Dante Alighieri” is a non for profit association established in 2004 and registered at the Jordanian Minister of Culture, with 25 founder members. Our main purpose is to encourage learning and appreciation of the Italian language and culture in Jordan, promoting the common cultural heritage of our two countries. Società Dante Alighieri’s main office is in Rome and has around 500 committees in Italy and around the world. Our center offers Italian language for adults and children, in-house and out, film seasons, lectures and conferences, music and theater events, and recreational and social activities. Our association is a cultural benchmark for the Italian community in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. We cooperate with the Italian Embassy’s cultural office for the Italian Language week in the world, the Italian Culinary week and to promote the study of Italian in Jordan. Other institutional partners are Italian, local and international cultural associations and organizations in Jordan. Our Committee is an official center for the PLIDA certificate of language competency, we have a library, with Italian books and DVDs, and we offer a translation service from and to Arabic and English. Since September 2013 we are part of the EUNIC Jordan cluster, a network of European Union National Institutes for Culture.
