Southwest University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL, Chinese:) is one of the earliest established legal educational institutions in China. SWUPL ranked top 5 law schools in China by many evaluation organizations. In Sept. 2017, SWUPL's law school graduate education ranked No.2 in China by RCCSE & ECCEQ. Located in Chongqing, one of four municipalities under the direct administration of Central Government, SWUPL has three campuses, in Yubei District and Shapingba District, with more than students and 2,300 faculties. Over 40 alumni have become judges of Supreme People's Court and procurators for Supreme People's Procuratorate. SWUPL has 13 departments, including five law schools (Civil and Business Law School, Economic Law School, Administrative Law School, International Law School and Law School), as well as Business School, School of Economy, English Department, Journalistic & Media School, Arbitration School, etc. In addition, there are 96 research institutions which have undertaken more than 1,500 research programs since 2012.
