We are working closely with the design department of Kongsberg Maritime. Héðinn offers its customers complete solutions in the metal and mechanical industry. The ability to provide comprehensive solutions to large and small metal mechanics projects creates Héðinn's unique position in its field in the country. Héðinn carries specialized service and repair of vessels machinery, fishmeal and construction equipment, such as demanding metalwork.

Verkfæri ehf var stofnað árið 2009 með þann tilgang að flytja vinnuvélar út frá Íslandi. Fljótlega breyttust áherslur og meiri kraftur var settur í innflutning á tækjum og vélum til landsins. Í dag starfar félagið í sölu og innflutningi á vélum, tækjum og búnaði fyrir bygginga- og jarðvinnuverktaka, framleiðslufyrirtæki, bæjarfélög og fleiri aðila. Félagið selur einnig vara- og fylgihluti auk ýmiskonar þjónustu. Verkfæri ehf. er umboðsaðili fyrir Merlo, Kobelco, Leica, Haulotte, Powerscreen, Terex, Clark o.fl. Félagið er einnig stór aðili í sölu og þjónustu á GPS búnaði fyrir jarðvinnuverktaka. Verkfæri ehf. flutti árið 2019 í nýtt og glæsilegt húsnæði í Tónahvarfi 3 í Kópavogi sem er 665 fermetrar. Í húsnæðinu er skrifstofuaðstaða, sýningarsalur og verkstæði. Á haustmánuðum ársins 2021 bætti félagið við sig 350 fermetra vörumóttöku og lagerrými í sama húsnæði. Húsakostur félagsins í Kópavogi er því rúmlega fermetrar um þessar mundir. Fyrirtækið rekur einnig verkstæði á Dalsbraut 1 á Akureyri auk þjónustubíla og hefur fjölmarga samstarfsaðila á landsbyggðinni fyrir verkstæðisvinnu og nær þannig að veita þjónustu í flestum landshlutum.
