Fateh Mohammad trading company was incorporated in 1965 in Kabul with Ministry of Commerce. This emerged as a blazing FM Group after a long span of struggle.A well reputed importer of Tea, Raw material for thread from India and Bangladesh. Later in 1975 started imports of new and second hand spare parts from UK. Then in early 90's started imports of Electronic Equipments and Cosmetics from Japan, Singapore, Dubai, China, Hong Kong, UK, and Indonesia. After 1995 launched Lubricants imports from U.A.E, Germany, Italy, U.S.A, Turkey, India and UK. After 9/11/2001 while President Hamid Karzai came in power with presence of international community, ISAF, NATO, Coalition forces started to support Afghanistan; there was huge scope/needs for Logistics, Construction and Agriculture services business. Therefore, the management of Fateh Muhammad Trading Company decided to launch integral companies. Now all companies are working under the umbrella of FM Group.

Bilingual SLP was initially created in 2008 as a product based company hoping to fill the void in available quality materials for speech-language therapy for Spanish speaking children. Due to some unforeseen life events, Bilingual SLP closed in 2012. In 2020, BilingualSLP LLC was re-created.
