Rova Caviar
In 2009, three entrepreneurs made a crazy bet. Alexandre Guerrier, Christophe and Delphyne Dabezies, three dynamic French entrepreneurs who have been living in Madagascar since the end of the 90s, decided to launch themselves into the Caviar business. Specialists in the manufacture of luxury clothing for the most prestigious houses in the world, and wishing to diversify their activities, they embarked on a human adventure that no one else would have attempted and created Rova Caviar Madagascar. The site of Mantasoa, a lake of unparalleled beauty and water purity, preserved from all human activity, became the green setting for an exceptional fish farm, Acipenser. After years of effort, the first caviar was produced on 26 June 2017, the day of Madagascar's bank holidays. It bears the name ROVA CAVIAR, the Queen's Palace overlooking the capital, a national emblem that stamps the tins of "Black Gold". Today, it is a national pride that carries the Malagasy know-how, the strength of its nature and the exceptional quality of its products beyond the borders, to the tables of the whole world. The "Big Island" joins the very closed club of producing countries and becomes the only caviar in Africa and the Indian Ocean.

The brand is named after the southern Russian city of Krasnodar, the world's cradle of caviar production, where the fertilised Acipenser sturgeon eggs are sourced. Nestled in the heart of Mantasoa Lake, east of Antananarivo, the sturgeons benefit from a temperate climate that is conducive to their development, making the breeding performance in Madagascar exceptional. Depuis sa fondation en 1956, hazovato® n’a eu de cesse de découvrir, transformer et mettre en valeur les ressources naturelles de Madagascar en bois et pierre. Aujourd’hui nos références d’articles se comptent par milliers, matériaux de revêtement, mobiliers, menuiseries, ossatures, charpentes, éléments de décoration… Son fondateur a été plusieurs fois décoré par Madagascar et par la France pour sa contribution au développement de l’île et ces distinctions renforcent notre idée que le made in Madagascar est aujourd’hui un label de qualité. Aujourd’hui hazovato® est installée sur m² de terrain et occupe m² d’ateliers sur la zone industrielle Forello Tanjombato dans le sud d’Antananarivo. Plus de m3 de bois brut et 500 tonnes de pierres passent chaque année dans un processus de fabrication unique à hazovato® Nos produits sont exposés à l’entrée de nos usines de Forello dans un showroom de m².
