Repimex S.A
Repimex provides maritime port services such as stowage and cargo handling, machinery rental, weighing services, among others. Its services are mainly concentrated in Puerto Quetzal, on the Pacific coast, and in Puerto Santo Tomás de Castilla, on the Atlantic coast. Repimex has handled more than 70% of the volume of bulk cargo imported through Puerto Quetzal. Of this total, grains such as corn, wheat, rice and soybeans accounted for around 75%, and the rest being mainly fertilizers and steel products. Repimex's main clients include some of Guatemala's largest companies in diversified industries such as: food and beverages, fertilizers, agribusiness, among others. As part of its expansion strategy, Repimex developed in Puerto Quetzal, on the Pacific coast of Guatemala, a specialized port terminal for the unloading of bulk minerals called "Terminal de Graneles Minerales"(TGM). Repimex provides in the TGM, the services of unloading, transfer, storage, dispatch and weighing of bulk. Its main clients are the operating companies of power generation plants using mineral coal and / or petroleum coke. Currently, these are the two main products handled in the TGM of Repimex. However, the terminal will also have the ability to handle other bulk solids, such as limestone, gypsum, clinker and fertilizers.
