Destination Gotland

Destination Gotland är ett helägt dotterbolag till Rederi AB Gotland med cirka 350 årsanställda. På uppdrag av staten bedriver vi färjetrafiken mellan Visby, Nynäshamn och Oskarshamn. Årligen transporterar vi ca 1,65 miljoner passagerare, 500 fordon och 750 längdmeter gods. Under sommaren kör vi upp till 21 turer per dygn. Vår vision för Gotlandstrafiken är att ”vidareutveckla ett av världens modernaste sjötransportsystem med de krav och förväntningar som ställs på miljö, restid och kapacitet” Vi är idag den enda aktören som bedriver färjetrafik till och från Gotland året runt. SAFE AT SEA = SAFE AT WORK We contributes to saving lives by developing, producing and offering small flexible and cost efficient search-and-rescue (SAR) systems to marine professionals all over the world. Our goal is to contribute to minimalizing the casualties at sea, in lakes, and in rivers – in all waters. We also want to help improving the safety of the working environment for marine professionals. Therefore we have developed professional training programs for these operators as well as that we offer best-in-class personal equipment for these operators. Our flagship-product RescueRunner was originally developed by Sjöräddningssällskapet (Swedish Sea Rescue Society) in order to have a small, versatile, efficient and robust boat with the ability to reach difficult, narrow and shallow waters with the capability of saving lives in a safe and quick way. The RescueRunner is easy to operate also in hard weather, in rough waters and among cliffs and rocks. It is designed to reach where other boats cannot go and enables rescuing also of unconscious people in the water- only carried out by a single operator. It is used in 21 countries, on 3 continents in the world per todays date and it is used by Search and rescue organisations, Coast Guard, Firefighters, Civil Defence, Red Cross, Ports/Harbours, Police, Military/Special Forces, Customs and different Lifesaving organisations. With a physical presence spanning three continents, we ensure a hands-on approach with all our projects. The vessels which we have built have been equally diverse. On behalf of clients we have built classic sailing yachts in wood and steel, modern sailing yachts in GRP and carbon and motor yachts in steel and aluminium. We have also been able to assist our clients in setting up the infrastructure needed for yacht ownership, whether for private or commercial operations. As early as 1979, we created Swan partner, one of the first multi-yacht fractional ownership structures. Ranab (Radio and Navigation Service in Sweden AB) is a family owned company located in Skärhamn on the island of Tjörn. We provide sales, installation, maintenance and surveys of marine communication and navigation. Ranab was founded in 2011, but we have many years of experience of both the shipping business as well as the marine electronics market. We therefore know that it is important to be able to provide a personal and a competitive service where you as a customer to us can get a full package solution where we provide the sales, and installation as well as the subsequent maintenance. We provide products and service in the areas of marine communication, navigation, IT and documentation. We are authorized by the Swedish Transport Agency and perform both annual GMDSS radio surveys as well as surveys after new installations. In addition to this, we are authorized by several manufacturers of marine electronics and we have a wide knowledge about most products. Our office is located in Skärhamn, just north from Gothenburg, a strategic place along the swedish westcoast, but also within a short range from the inland waterways. Vitsgarn Seglarskola

Vitsgarn Seglarskola Vi arrangerar seglarläger för barn och ungdomar i åldrarna 8-17 år. På Vitsgarn erbjuder vi seglarläger i 1-2 veckor, 3 veckors konfirmationsläger och 2 veckors instruktörsutbildning. Vi har läger som passar både dig som aldrig har suttit i en båt förut och dig som har seglat i några år. Vi lär våra elever grunderna i segling, navigation, sjömanskap och sjösäkerhet – dessutom så har vi väldigt roligt. Lär dig allt om segling på Vitsgarns seglarläger Gippa, dejsa, kryssa och gira. Kasta dragg, skota hem och lova upp mot vindögat. Segling är precis lika spännande som det låter. Ju mer du kan, desto roligare är det. På Vitsgarns 17 olika seglarläger får du lära dig hur en segelbåt fungerar, vad alla olika delar heter, slå knopar, sjömanskap och sjövett. Du lär dig segla en av våra tre spännande båttyper under handledning av trygga och engagerade ledare. Seglarskola sedan 1964 Vitsgarn Seglarskola ingår i Ungdomsförbundet Sveriges Flotta (USF) som är en av Sveriges största arrangörer av seglarläger för barn och ungdomar. Vitsgarn Seglarskola, förbundets huvudanläggning i Stockholms skärgård, utbildar cirka 500 elever varje sommar. På Vitsgarn finns 18 hus, 39 segelbåtar, 9 motorbåtar, 1 fotbollsplan och cirka 500 meter brygganläggning. USF arrenderar anläggningen på Vitsgarn och allt ekonomiskt överskott går direkt tillbaka till verksamheten.
