GASMAR is a private family owned company with its main aim to re-establish a shipping company in Slovenia but in the LNG sector. After a detailed market research, taking into account new world policies from IMO and Paris MoU, we have found that LNG transport is the only one showing high demand in the upcoming years and based on current forecast also up to the year 2030 and possibly 2040. There are three things that a shipping company needs, first is a fast growing market, second is a team of experienced and motivated professionals to run the business and lastly funds to purchase a technologically advanced LNG vessel. The rising demand for LNG as fuel is clearly shown on stock market because it’s more energy efficient and has much lower emissions compared to other fossil fuels.
