It's Kigali’s one-of-a-kind cinema hub, aiming to grow a vibrant film culture in Rwanda and make the city a creative meeting place. The festival is driven by Rwanda’s new generation of filmmakers and artists, bringing fresh ideas and energy to every screening and conversation. Its signature outdoor screenings in the heart of downtown are joined by events in key venues, including the historic Cine Mayaka in Nyamirambo. KCJ celebrates African talent and imaginative cinema, balancing artistic vision with stories that connect and inspire. It’s a space for community, dialogue, and shared experience, welcoming audiences, artists, and filmmakers from across Africa and beyond. Join us for the 4th edition in July 2026!
