In Flanders Fields Museum
Het museum brengt het historische verhaal van de Eerste Wereldoorlog in de West-Vlaamse frontstreek. Het is gevestigd in de heropgebouwde Lakenhallen van Ieper, een belangrijk symbool van oorlogsleed en van wederopstanding. Vanuit die symbolische huisvesting schenkt het museum ook grote aandacht aan het hedendaagse landschap als een van de laatste tastbare getuigen. Het museum wil de band met het oorlogsverleden bewaren. Omdat het wezen van oorlog doorheen de tijd niet verandert, beschouwt het museum het brengen van dit oorlogsverhaal als een universele en eigentijdse vredesboodschap, en dus als een belangrijke maatschappelijke opdracht. Het museum werkt nauw samen met partners die zijn missie delen en werkt binnen het kader van Ieper Vredesstad.

In keeping with today's world, the Uhoda Collection is characterized by a wide diversity of expressions, languages and supports. Escaping any attempt at categorization, it reflects the complexity of the sensibilities, tastes and centers of interest of its founders. It bears witness to a brief history of art told through the eyes of the latter.

't Grom
t Grom is het museum van de Groentestreek, van Aartselaar tot Rotselaar en van Zemst tot Ranst. Gevoed door de twee Neten, Dijle, Demer en Rupel is deze streek altijd vruchtbare grond gebleken. Dit rivierenland met zijn klei- en leembodems is en was ideaal voor de tuinbouw. En met de nabijheid van grote steden als Antwerpen, Mechelen en Brussel was de snelle afzet verzekerd. Geen wonder dat de Groentestreek al 150 jaar de bakermat is voor heel wat individuele pioniers en hun innovaties in de groenteteelt. Van de ontdekker van het witloof, over de uitvinder van preiponsmachine, tot de bedenker van biologische bestuiving. De roem van de streek groeide met de oprichting en het werk van instellingen als onder andere de tuinbouwschool van Vilvoorde, de Mechelse veilingen, het Proefstation voor de Groenteteelt, of de allereerste Belgische biotelersorganisatie Belbior. In het hart van de regio ligt het tuindersdorp Sint-Katelijne-Waver. Daar brengt het openluchtmuseum een ode aan de durf en het succes van pioniers en telers in de tuinbouw, Het museum opent het de ogen voor de complexiteit en samenhang van onze groenteteelt, van de grond tot in de mond, van geografie tot genetica.

Tempora est spécialisée dans la conception, réalisation et gestion d’expositions et d’équipements culturels. Fondée en 1998 par Benoît Remiche, administrateur délégué, et le Groupe De Boeck, premier éditeur belge de livres scolaires et universitaires, Tempora compte de nombreuses réalisations à son actif, dont certains des événements culturels belges les plus marquants de ces dernières années. Art & History Museum
In the heart of Brussels, close to the European Quarter, lies the Parc du Cinquantenaire, or Jubelpark. This park, created in its current form around 1880, was originally intended for trade fairs and international expositions. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it served as a showcase of Belgium’s wealth and ingenuity. The buildings and exhibition halls that were part of this vision still stand today and house a number of museums, including the Art & History Museum – Belgium’s largest and most diverse museum. Although the collections of the Art & History Museum rival those of the Louvre or the British Museum, it remains, for many, a hidden gem. Even the buildings themselves are worth a visit: the grandeur of the 19th-century architecture – from the imposing facades to the great halls and hidden galleries – is sure to take your breath away. The collections are everything a lover of art and history could wish for. The museum takes you on a journey through time and around the world, beginning with archaeological discoveries from the birth of mankind, through ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome, the Middle Ages, and the 16th to 18th centuries, and culminating in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements of the early 20th century. In addition to the vast Belgian and European collections, the museum also houses treasures from long-lost non-European civilizations in Asia and the Americas. Visitors can easily spend an entire day surrounded by some of the oldest and most beautiful objects created by humanity. Several masterpieces stand out: the statuette that inspired Hergé’s Tintin and the Broken Ear, for example, and an original Easter Island statue – donated to Belgium by the Chilean government and brought here aboard the famous Mercator. Villa Empain - Fondation Boghossian
Created in 1992 by Robert and his two sons Jean and Albert Boghossian, Lebanese jewelers of Armenian origin, The Boghossian Foundation aims to contribute to development and education. In its first fifteen years, the Boghossian Foundation devoted itself mainly to the task of helping improve the living conditions of young people both in Armenia and Lebanon in order to encourage a better future for them. After completely renovating the Villa Empain, the Boghossian Foundation established its headquarters there in 2010. A jewel of Brussels’ Art Deco architectural heritage, the Villa Empain is now a Centre of art and dialogue between cultures of the East and the West, of encounters and discoveries, of shared emotions and wonderment open to all. The Boghossian Foundation hosts a rich artistic program and unique activities all year round : exhibitions, concerts, conferences, dance performances, workshops for kids, artist encounters, guided tours, meetings, film screenings, performances, yoga classes… The Boghossian Foundation continues to finance social, educational and artistic and projects in Belgium, Lebanon and Armenia.

Mu.Zee Oostende
Het enige museum dat scherp stelt op moderne en hedendaagse kunst in België, van 1880 tot vandaag. Mu.ZEE in Oostende is gesloten voor een technische renovatie, maar blijft aanwezig in de stad met tentoonstellingen in de Venetiaanse Gaanderiien. Ook de kunstenaarshuizen Permekemuseum in Jabbeke en Peiremuzee in Knokke-Heist blijven open.
