The Orillia Museum of Art & History (OMAH) is an incorporated registered charity that acts as a hub of culture and heritage in the heart of Orillia’s Peter Street Arts District. For over thirty years, OMAH has been inspiring creativity and celebrating history, while growing as a hub for local artists and historians. We invite families to try our drop-in programs, teachers to explore our educational programming, and all to learn about the Orillia area’s vibrant history, or enjoy an exhibition or two. OUR MISSION is to be a cultural centre open to all that will inspire creativity and celebrate history by creating excitement and wonderment for the arts, history, and culture communities. OUR VISION is to be the anchor for the significant and growing arts, local history and cultural community in Orillia and the surrounding area by offering exciting and innovative exhibits, events, programming and activities that reach out and engage all citizens, seasonal residents and visitors. Comox Valley Art Gallery
The Comox Valley Art Gallery is dedicated to presenting and fostering contemporary art by professional artists from the region, the country and beyond. Through our exhibitions, publications, creative residencies and education programs, we link the Comox Valley to the broader world of contemporary art practice. We actively engage the public, draw visitors, and enliven the community through public events, performances, community collaborations, all-ages make art projects, youth training and mentorship programs, and a gift shop that sells the work of hundreds of local artists. CVAG is an independent public gallery run by a non-profit society. The Comox Valley Art Gallery is grateful to operate on the Traditional Territory of the K’ómoks First Nations. CVAG spaces are accessible, and programs are barrier-free (no cost). Donations are appreciated.

Prince Edward Island Museum And Heritage Foundation
The PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation is an integral part of the Prince Edward Island community. We operate seven provincial museums and heritage sites across Prince Edward Island, providing community members and visitors with an opportunity to discover our province's heritage and culture. Our Provincial Museum and Heritage Sites include- Acadian Museum of Prince Edward Island (open year-round)- Basin Head Fisheries Museum (open July to September)- Beaconsfield Historic House (open year-round)- Elmira Railway Museum (open July to September)- Eptek Art & Culture Centre (open year-round)- Green Park Shipbuilding Museum & Yeo House (open July to September)- Orwell Corner Historic Village (open July to September) Beyond administering these sites, the Foundation is responsible for the provincial collection of more than material and cultural objects. Our staff provide professional conservation and collection services to outside groups, individuals and organizations. Cafka - Contemporary Art Forum Kitchener And Area
As Ontario’s oldest public art forum, for 20 years CAFKA has supported a diverse spectrum of local, national and international artists in the presentation/dissemination of ground-breaking, contemporary, interactive and interventionist public artworks in Kitchener-Waterloo (KW) region through biennial programming and special projects. As the only artist-driven visual arts organization in the region and a pillar within KW, CAFKA’s primarily free biennial program in unexpected public spaces expands contemporary art experiences outside gallery environments and positions them as critical and integral parts of community life—accessible to everyone. Through the biennial, lectures, tours, workshops and related special projects, CAFKA develops opportunities for people in the community and beyond to learn about contemporary art, and engage in discourse around issues of public and private space.

Located in Parkdale, Gallery 1313 began as the Parkdale Village Arts Collective (PVAC), to support and advocate the work of Parkdale-based artists and initiate positive changes in this Toronto neighbourhood. with artists from across the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, and further afield. Originally used as a police station, the 1934 Art Deco building that houses Gallery 1313 was developed by Artscape into live/work spaces for artists, offices, community groups and exhibition space. Today, Gallery 1313 continues to be a member-based, artistic hub in Parkdale, receiving more than visitors and hosting roughly 76 exhibitions in it’s four spaces, annually.

Ukrainian Museum Of Canada
WELCOME TO THE UKRAINIAN MUSEUM OF CANADA The Ukrainian Museum of Canada (UMC), in downtown Saskatoon, SK, features three galleries dedicated to celebrating and promoting the arts, culture, and legacy of the Ukrainian Canadian community. We also house archives, a library, community spaces, and a shop carrying a range of authentic Ukrainian giftwares, clothing, and crafts. The Ukrainian Museum of Canada was established by the Ukrainian Women’s Association of Canada in 1936 with the aim of promoting Ukrainian arts, culture, and heritage. The vision of the women who founded the museum was bold, since Ukrainian culture was not well understood or respected by most Canadians at the time. In Soviet Ukraine, following Stalin’s rise to power, Ukrainian culture and language were being violently suppressed. Today our museum is home to one of the largest ethnic textile collections in North America, including regional folk costumes, kylym (tapstries), and vyshyvka (embroidery). We also house a suite of 12 paintings, the Ukrainian Pioneer Women series, by the well-known artist William Kereluk, along with many works by Ukrainian Canadian folk artists Dmytro Stryek, Ann Harbuz, and others. The Museum offers a variety of public programs to empower visitors to explore, learn, and have fun. Our programs, workshops, lectures, and special events inspire people from all cultural backgrounds to connect with Ukrainian Canadian culture, art, and history. Since February 24, 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine, the Ukrainian Museum of Canada has been active in welcoming Ukrainian newcomers and bringing community together to learn about modern Ukraine, its history, politics, and culture, and the ways that Ukrainian stories impact Canadians. The Ukrainian Museum of Canada is more than a museum in Saskatoon. We are also the headquarters for branches in Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver.

As a museum and archival heritage institution, Oseredok collects, preserves, and interprets a wide range of cultural history and heritage related to the community's history, including ethnology, folk art, fine art, and archives. Oseredok is proud of its distinctive nature, reflected in the diverse yet interrelated collections housed under one roof. It serves as an essential source of information on Ukrainian culture, covering various fields of interest such as history, art, music, literature, and ethnography. The center is committed to preserving and transmitting the traditions inherent in the Ukrainian consciousness to future generations. Caetani Centre
The Caetani Centre is a vibrant and innovative arts and culture centre located on a beautiful 1.3 acre park-like property in the heart of beautiful Vernon, BC. Adhering to the vision set out by our benefactor, the late artist, mentor and teacher Sveva Caetani, the Caetani Centre strives to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive and diverse cultural centre by providing opportunities and programming that celebrate contemporary artistic expressions across all arts mediums and genres. We present and preserve the inspirational influence of Sveva Caetani and her family, descendents of Italian royalty, through curating and exhibiting her artwork, including her 47-piece Recapitulation Series, and capturing her story of strength and resilience through our heritage displays and historical and educational tours. We also offer arts and culture programs, exhibits, workshops, concerts and events for members of the public throughout the year and host artists and creatives from across Canada and around the world in our Artist Residency Program. Our events include an annual summer music festival, an art and golf fundraiser, a popular Halloween ghost tour/party, and evolving Culture Days, Vernon Winter Carnival and other events. Our facilities include a main-floor accessible museum in our 1895-built heritage house, a 3 bedroom AIR suite, 2 long-term residential suites, 5 on-site studios, a 750 sq. ft. indoor art gallery/event space, an outdoor courtyard, staging area, and beautiful gardens. A variety of different unique venue options are available to rent throughout the year.

The Great War Flying Museum
The Great War Flying Museum, operated by the Ontario Aviation Historical Society since 1970, is a volunteer member organization. We are a diverse group of aviation enthusiasts, pilots, history buffs, and mechanics, all with a passion for bringing WWI aviation to life. You don’t need a pilot’s license to be a member! Whether you are a history buff, mechanic, or just enjoy being around the aircraft, we welcome everyone with an interest. Enjoy the benefits of year-round museum access, museum social functions, and the chance to help work on the aircraft. Membership is $200 in the first year;$160 annually thereafter. Our replica WWI aircraft perform flypasts at airshows and commemorations, including Brampton’s annual Remembrance Day Ceremony. Two were used on the set of the movie The Aviator!

Niagara-On-The-Lake Museum
The Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum contains one of Ontario’s most important local history collections. Located 20km north of Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake was an important home and terminus for Indigenous peoples, provided a safe haven for refugees and United Empire Loyalists, was the capital of Upper Canada, was in the middle of a war zone and visited by millions as a place of recreation for over 160 years. These stories play a major role in the development of Canada. The galleries host a permanent exhibition, titled Our Story, chronicling the history of our community. Two temporary exhibitions are mounted each year and over 80 engaging programs are enjoyed by the young and the young at heart.

Admiralty House Communications Museum
Located just outside St. John's in scenic Mount Pearl, Admiralty House Communications Museum will fascinate you with artifacts from the region's past, wireless communication, and the tragedy of the S.S. Florizel. Enjoy fascinating, surprising, and once top-secret stories. This historic building was originally constructed in 1915 by the Marconi Telegraph Co. during the First World War as the top-secret H.M. Wireless Station for the British Royal Navy. This station, now the last standing of the 11 identical stations around the world, was built to intercept secret German naval transmissions, track icebergs, and ships in distress.

Jet Aircraft Museum
The JET AIRCRAFT MUSEUM (JAM) exists to create and maintain a dynamic and living history of the modern age Royal Canadian Air Force and to provide permanent honour for those valiant Canadian men and women who flew these aircraft with distinction in periods of war, peace, and peace keeping. In short, our mission is to “Preserve, Educate, and Soar”. JAM is a Charitable Organization that has as its primary purposes the acquisition, display, preservation, maintenance and, most importantly, providing in flight demonstrations for the people of Canada now and for generations to come. The JAM mission is to combine the creation and operation of a museum, housing aircraft, historical artifacts, records, and salient memorabilia, while simultaneously keeping representative historic aircraft in the air whenever and wherever major aviation events are held across Canada and at appropriate international centres. The Museum offers full voting membership to everyone interested in preserving Canada’s noble jet heritage. Governance is provided by a Board of Directors and Officers. The Museum has been granted charitable status by the Canada Revenue Agency. With this status and our organization’s plans growing daily we continue to seek support through memberships, donations and sponsorships.
