Heidi by Swiss Author Johanna Spyri is one of the strongest and most influential characters in world literature. Heidi unites the world and all generations and cultures. Heidiseum Foundation is the bearer of the Heidi Archive, that in May 2023 was included in the international register "Memory of the Word" of UNESCO.

Kulturmuseum Bern
Das Kulturmuseum Bern ist ein kleiner Ausstellungsraum im Berner Breitenrainquartier. Sein Anspruch, Kulturmuseum zu sein, ist vermessen und verwegen. Denn was anderes als Stätten der Kultur wären demnach alle anderen Museen, Theater, Konzertorte und Clubs? Wir stellen die kulturelle Bedeutung dieser Institutionen nicht infrage. Wir wollen für Künstler, Publizisten und Förderer ein Treffpunkt sein, ihnen Gastrecht gewähren – und zusammen mit dem Publikum den Begriff Kultur an sich infrage stellen. Respektive ständig danach fragen, was Kultur eigentlich ausmacht. Im Lichte neuer Entwicklungen und in immer neuen Zusammenhängen. Die Ausstellungen und Veranstaltungen sollen das Publikum zu eigenen Antworten anregen. Die Kultur des Museums findet sein Dasein und seinen Sinn in der Wahrnehmung und im Dialog der Besucher. Offenheit ist unser Prinzip, Aktualität unser Anliegen, Überraschung unser Ziel. Geleitet wird das Kulturmuseum Bern von Christoph Balmer und Bernhard Jordi. Das Kulturmuseum Bern ist als Verein organisiert. Trotz seiner räumlichen Begrenzung arbeitet das Kulturmuseum dank einheitlichen Öffnungszeiten, guter Infrastruktur und qualitativem Anspruch auf Augenhöhe mit etablierten Museen. Es greift auf bestehendes Kulturgut zurück und entwickelt als Netzwerk und Kulturfabrik eigene Objekte und Aussagen. Der Ausstellungsraum im erhaltenswerten Rieghaus am Schützenweg 22 in Bern wird ergänzt durch einen Museumsshop, eine Werkstatt, einen Lagerraum und dem zur Verfügung stehenden Aussenraum.

Ein interdisziplinäres Haus für Stadt, Raum, Architektur und Umwelt Welche Rolle spielen Stadt, Raum, Architektur und Umwelt in unserem Leben – jetzt und in Zukunft? Das ZAZ BELLERIVE Zentrum Architektur Zürich ist ein Begegnungsort, Ausstellungsraum, Veranstaltungs- und Vermittlungszentrum rund um Fragen der Baukultur. Es reflektiert die Wahrnehmung von Architektur und Theorie, sowie den öffentlichen Diskurs von Städtebau und Stadtentwicklung, Umwelt, Gesellschaft, Stadt- und Architekturgeschichte. Unsere Wechselausstellungen, Diskussionsveranstaltungen, Vorträge und partizipativen Vermittlungsgefässe richten sich nicht nur an ein Fachpublikum, sondern an die breite Öffentlichkeit. Darüber hinaus bieten wir auch eine Bühne für spontane, unkonventionelle Events sowie durch externe Partner organisierte Veranstaltungen. Die Kulturabteilung der Stadt Zürich unterstützt die Institution mit einem Betriebsbeitrag und stellt die Villa Bellerive dem Trägerverein ZAZ BELLERIVE Zentrum Architektur Zürich zur Verfügung, welches sich bis Juni 2021 im Pilotbetrieb befand. Im Juli 2021 wechselte das ZAZ BELLERIVE Zentrum Architektur Zürich in den Dauerbetrieb.

Zeughaus Teufen
Das Zeughaus Teufen ist ein führendes Museum im Kanton mit einer Ausstrahlung über die Kantonsgrenzen hinweg. Wir sind ein Museum für die Tiefe mit dem einzigartigen Grubenmann-Museum, und sind gleichzeitig ein Begegnungsort für die Breite mit den Wechselausstellungen, Veranstaltungen und den anderen Inhalten des Zeughaus Teufens. Damit bieten wir ein Gesamtkonzept der kulturellen Mehrfachnutzung. Pro Jahr werden 2-5 Wechselausstellungen kuratiert, welche regelmässig über die Gemeinde- und Kantonsgrenze hinweg für Aufmerksamkeit sorgen und so immer wieder neue Zielgruppen ins Zeughaus Teufen locken. Die Ausstellungs-Themen sind angesiedelt in einem breiten Feld von Kunst, Kultur, Baukultur, Baukunst, Architektur, Grubenmann und Holz sowie regionalen Themen und Phänomenen, und bietet Raum für ein Kulturlabor.

Dampfzentrum Winterthur
Das Dampfzentrum Winterthur ist ein Schweizerisches Museum für Industriekultur. In einer alten renovierten SULZER Fabrikhalle in Winterthur steht die umfangreichste und interessanteste Sammlung internationaler Dampftechnologie. Zahlreiche freiwillige Helfer vom Verein Dampfzentrum Winterthur hegen und pflegen rund 500 Tonnen Kulturgüter aus der Zeit der Industrialisierung. Eine Sammlung stationärer Dampfmaschinen von nationaler Bedeutung stand im Jahr 2010 vor einer sehr unsicheren Zukunft: bleibt nur noch die Verschrottung? Initiative Personen aus der Region Winterthur haben den Entschluss gefasst, sich für die Erhaltung dieses kulturhistorisch wertvollen Guts einzusetzen. Die Stiftung Dampfzentrum Winterthur setzt sich dafür ein, dass dieses einmalige Kulturgut der Bevölkerung erhalten bleibt. Schliesslich liegen die Wurzeln des Aufstiegs und Erfolgs von Winterthur bei den grossen Industrien des 19. Jahrhunderts. Nebst der riesigen Freiwilligen-Arbeit sind wir auch auf die finanzielle Unterstützung aus Gesellschaft, Wirtschaft und Politik angewiesen. Mudac - Musée Cantonal De Design Et D'arts Appliqués Contemporains
mudac – Lausanne’s Museum of Contemporary Design and Applied Arts – is the only institution in Western Switzerland entirely dedicated to design. It has developed its identity and international reputation through hundreds of ambitious and often unusual exhibitions and continues to pursue a policy of openness and exchange between the many disciplines of contemporary creation. Its programme showcases designers and artists at solo exhibitions and extends to exhibitions that question the public on contemporary social issues. It demonstrates the museum’s interest in the world and in the wide scope that the term design itself can encompass. The diversity of points of view of each project has enabled mudac to assert itself both on the national and international scene by offering its exhibitions to its counterparts. Europe and Asia have thus been able to discover exhibitions made in mudac on numerous occasions. Open to collaboration, mudac regularly works with the various universities in Western Switzerland. Its research is regularly published in its own catalogues, where numerous invitations are extended to researchers from all disciplines.

Fondation Baur, Musée Des Arts D'extrême-Orient
Les collections de la Fondation Baur, musée des arts d’Extrême-Orient, riches de près de objets d’art de la Chine et du Japon, sont abritées dans un élégant hôtel particulier de la fin du XIXe siècle à Genève. Le collectionneur suisse Alfred Baur (1865-1951) est à l’origine d’un remarquable ensemble de céramiques impériales, jades et flacons à tabac chinois du au XIXe siècle, ainsi que d’objets d’art japonais comprenant des céramiques, laques, estampes, netsuke et ornements de sabre. Depuis 1995, le musée s’est enrichi de plusieurs donations, notamment de laques anciens chinois, de céramiques chinoises d’exportation, de textiles chinois et japonais et d’une importante collection consacrée à la cérémonie du thé au Japon. Ces collections sont, dans le domaine de l’Extrême-Orient, les plus importantes ouvertes au public en Suisse. Des expositions temporaires sont organisées plusieurs fois par an. The collections of the Baur Foundation, Museum of Far Eastern Art, comprise some Chinese and Japanese art objects, housed in an elegant late 19th century town house. Acquired by the Swiss collector Alfred Baur (1865-1951) over a period of some 45 years, these exquisite works of art include Chinese imperial ceramic ware, jades and snuff bottles from the 10th to the 19th centuries, as well as Japanese prints, lacquer, netsuke, and sword fittings. Since 1995, several donations, notably of Chinese lacquer ware, export ceramics, Chinese and Japanese textiles and an important collection of objects for the Japanese Tea Ceremony, have further enriched the museum’s collections. Altogether, these represent the largest collections of Far Eastern art open to the public in Switzerland. Temporary exhibitions are regularly organized several times a year.
