Armenian Artists Project is a charitable online art gallery, founded in San Diego, CA, USA in 2018. Today the gallery represents more than 1500 pieces of original Armenian art. Every time a piece of art is sold, the matching amount of what the artist receives is put aside to be allotted as charity in Armenia. The balance of art sales revenue is used for direct operational costs of the AAP website, thus allowing the art buyers almost a 60% income tax deduction of their art purchases. On 17th of August a new venue to enjoy art, artistic atmosphere and a fine glass of wine, MOURADICK Art Center by AAP, has opened its doors for all the art lovers. B-29 Doc
B-29 is one of 1,644 B-29 Superfortress airplanes built by the Boeing Company in Wichita, KS, during World War II. Restored in 2016 thanks to 16 years of more than volunteer hours, B-29 Doc serves today to honor, educate and connect. Through its national tour each year that begins in March and spans through October, Doc flies into cities across the United States to honor the men and women who designed, built, flew and maintained B-29s during WWII and the Korean War. The B-29 Doc Hangar, Education and Visitors Center in Wichita serves as Doc's home headquarters for the hundreds of volunteers who continue to work to keep the historic aircraft airworthy and present-day-mission ready to fly as a living museum.

Our exhibit hall now includes: 1900 Storm, immigration, gambling history, photography, corner stores, military history, and other rotating exhibits. Historic City Hall Arts And Cultural Center
After extensive restoration, the 1911 Historic City Hall opened its doors as the City of Lake Charles' public art gallery and cultural facility in 2004. Since that time, Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center has showcased numerous traveling exhibitions from around the world, as well as regional and local artists. The Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center is City-owned-and-operated, under the direction of the Cultural Affairs Department. The beautiful historic building features three floors of gallery space, a clock tower, and, added in 2006, a landscaped brick courtyard. There have been many exhibitions by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Ansel Adams, Norman Rockwell, and Tasha Tudor, as well as many traveling group exhibitions. In 2007, Historic City Hall housed Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, featuring over 100 carefully preserved artifacts from the historic vessel. The Historic City Hall is also the home to two local art galleries: Black Heritage Gallery and Gallery by the Lake. The Center has had visitors from across the country, many of which are surprised and delighted to find such high-caliber exhibitions in the Lake Area. For the past several years, Historic City Hall Arts and Cultural Center has been voted the Best Public Art Gallery by the Times of Lake Charles Reader's Poll. This honor recognizes the ongoing commitment the City of Lake Charles has made to providing the residents and visitors of Lake Charles with quality, educational, family-friendly entertainment and events at accessible prices.
