Long Play Music Serbia

Belgrade-based Long Play is one of the most renowned promotional and concert agencies in Serbia and the former Yugoslavia, and it represents several top musicians in the region and arranges guest appearances for numerous worldwide bands of different genres. Gibonni, Darko Rundek, Amira Medunjanin, Plavi orkestar, Babe and Kolja are top musical names represented by Long Play. Also, hit theatre play "Chicago Perversions" by actor Dragan Gagi Jovanovic is promoted by Long Play. Master Blaster Music School

Master Blaster je prva škola za rok i pop muziku u Beogradu. Polaznici škole prolaze kroz sve muzičke žanrove i sviraju pesme koje vole da slušaju. Svirajući u bendu oni uče da sarađuju sa vršnjacima i da se druže, ali i da budu timski igrači i da pružaju podršku i pomoć drugima. Mnogi učenici koji su prvi put uspostavili kontakt sa svojim instrumentom u Master Blaster školi, danas su članovi beogradskih rok i pop grupa ali pre svega su srećni mladi ljudi puni samopouzdanja. Master Blaster škola je specifična po svom praktičnom pristupu učenja zbog čega su učenici veoma motivisani za rad i napredovanje. To se direktno odražava na njihovo samopouzdanje, koje je veoma značajan faktor kod dece ovog uzrasta, u formiranju zdrave ličnosti. U Master Blasteru se uči na zabavan način i deca su aktivno uključena u proces učenja. Nastava u Master Blasteru se odvija u četiri tromesečna semestra. Postoje sledeći kursevi: Gitara, Bas gitara, Bubnjevi, Pevanje, Klavijature, DJ, Muzička produkcija. Nastava iz glavnog predmeta se odvija po programima koji se uvek prilagođavaju učeniku. Pored glavnog predmeta polaznici imaju i časove teorije muzike, istorije rok muzike, radionice i probe za koncert. Dodatno se mogu pohađati i časovi perkusija koji doprinose razvijanju osećaja za ritam. Svi polaznici kurseva nastupaju na koncertima škole. Polaznici kurseva DJ i muzička produkcija imaju samo časove glavnog predmeta.

Nišville Jazz Festival

The International Nisville jazz festival is the largest and most-visited jazz festival in Southeastern Europe. The festival is the offical cultural event of the City of Niš and also "the festival of national value", according to the rankings by Serbian Ministry of Culture. Since the first edition of the festival in 1995, Nisville has been promoting the multiculturism as the inevitable characteristic of the contemporary jazz music. The festival's concept is based on presenting the 'traditional' jazz forms together with their fusion with the world music tradition, with the emphasis on the music from the Balkans. The main program of the festival is held at two connected stages in the Fortress of Niš, while there are also many free stages in the Fortress and in the city. During the festival days, more than visitors are enjoying the musical peformances, movies and theatre, art exhibitions and book promotions. Besides that, Nisville festival organizes free jazz performances in many cities and towns around Serbia: Dimitrovgrad, Paraćin, Beograd, Novi Sad, Subotica, Aleksinac, Prokuplje, Vranje, Pirot, Leskovac, Zaječar, Aranđelovac.
