Acus conceives, designs and manufactures its entire line of products exclusively in Italy at Recanati, drawing upon the highest level of expertise available from a centre of history and tradition in the development and manufacture of musical instruments in Europe. Acus was founded and is managed with enthusiasm and innovation by the Canale family, drawing on over 40 years of dedicated development and experience from this sector. The speakers, cabinets and all electrical components are custom made. Acus’ designers have developed bi-amplified power sections with high bandwidth and slew-rate. In strategic positions of the preamplifiers are located specifics class A output stages and able to offers a very warm valve-like tone typical of studio amps. The sound cabinets are built in the Acus’ custom shop on an individual basis with sophisticated variations in design and choice of base materials within the parameters of the models. The loudspeakers are produced to Acus’ standard specification, with ultra light mass and fast transient response cones. An Italian custom design with faithful attention to detail in its preamps, speakers, components and cabinets - aesthetics and functionality in perfect harmony. Acus manufactures amplification systems specifically targeted at acoustic bands, with dedicated channels, preamps and monitors that give equalization levels to all instruments. Quick, easy to use and reliable, with uncompromising sound quality. All of these factors set a new standard in sound quality in the world of acoustic string instrument amplification.

The mission of the Association is the diffusion of musical culture through the organisation musical events, in particular of classical and contemporary music. For this scope are normally produced concerts for Chamber and Symphonic Orchestra, as well as productions for smaller ensembles, such are Chamber groups. The Cantelli Orchestra was founded in Milan in 1992, and takes its name from the great conductor Cantelli, considered the musical heir of Arturo Toscanini. From February 2006 up to April 2008 the Orchestra has been under the lead of M° Romolo Gessi as Musical Director. Starting from May 2008, and up to the fall, 2009, the Musical Director of the Cantelli Orchestra has been M° Ezio Rojatti. On February, 2006, there was an important change in the administrative structure of the Orchestra: since that moment the support is provided by the "Cantelli Orchestra Association", the founders of which were the most representative musicians of the Orchestra. Currently the musicians members of the executive board of the Association are Laura Magistrelli (chairwoman) and Francesco Quaranta. Over the years the activity of the Orchestra, besides the traditional concerts with a classical repertoire, also comprised productions with pieces of contemporary Authors, so as to introduce to the listening of classical music a wider audience. Following this line, the Orchestra has been invited to the second edition of the MiTo Settembre musica festival, to hold a concert on music of George Gershwin; on 2012 the Orchestra has been invited to the sixth edition of the same festival, to hold a concert on music of W. A. Mozart; on 2013 the Orchestra was invited to the seventh edition, to hold two concerts on music of P. Hindemith.
